Eaglefeather caught the looks passing between Lynxheart and Burntpelt, and he felt a small smile tug at his mouth. Nodding respectfully to Lynxheart as a greeting, he snuggled down closer to his brother, whose ears were flattened against his head. Eaglefeather felt sorry for him- he knew inactivity and idleness angered Adderpelt, and as a reminder to cheer up, he gently nudging the other's shoulder. Adderpelt huffed, and Eaglefeather sat back up again, staying true to his promise of making sure that Burntpelt had someone looking out for him at these gatherings.

For the first while, Stormheart pretended not to notice the rapidly approaching pile of snow. However, when the first teensy bit slid over his paw, he swung his great, grey head around to stare at Mothtail sternly. "I can see you, Mothtail. Your antics don't escape me." he mewed, rolling his eyes a little before settling down into the snow even more, allowing this thick coat to protect him from the chill.

Brightpaw was happy at the exchange that passed between Dappledpaw and her sister, glad that the notoriously socially inept she-cat had managed to insert herself into the group without too much fuss. Gently nudging Dappledpaw's shoulder with her head to get his attention, she asked; "Psst. Dappledpaw. Who do you think Hollowedstar is going to appoint as deputy?" She couldn't remember if she'd asked this question before, but even if she had, she didn't remember the answer, and so she'd just have to ask him again!
