With a smile the she cat perked her ears as she listened to her apprentices wise words. For such a young age this apprentice held true potential. Lynxheart was truly grateful for this young warrior. "Very exciting! I am very happy with whomever Hollowedstar choses! You know Sandpaw, I can see you being a great leader one day." The she cat commented with a twinkle in her eye.
As Hollowedstar called out to the clan she looked up, then back down at her apprentice. "We can train later. Come, you may sit with me if you'd like." Lynxheart said with a smile as she trotted over to an open spot and sat, curling her fluffy tail over her paws. Her gaze fell upon her leader, the one cat she really ever looked up to. Something inside seemed to crumble and break away little by little as she watched, day by day, as he glanced past her. She had learned to love her leader, but, the warrior knew capturing the toms heart wouldn't be easy. Maybe, she should stop trying.

As he bent over to take a bite he perked his ears so he could listen to the she cat. Closing his gaping mouth he gazed at her face and smiled. When the clan leader, Hollowedstar, called the whole clan together he stood and walked over to Faintbreeze. Leaving his morning meal behind. "I wouldn't love anything more." Cloudspot mewed, ready to follow the she cat to any sitting spot she liked.

The tabby tom smiled down at Brightpaw as she talked. Her voice was soft, vibrant, and freindly. She could always brighten anyones day, she fit her name quiet well. "I hope, whoever the warrior may be, will be as great as Hallowedtsar! We should go catch Hollowedstar something, maybe it would ease his suffering! Good idea!" Dappledpaw stated with a smile, rising to.his paws and shaking out his fur. He walked towards the exit and looked over his shoulder to see if his friend followed.
When he heard Hollowedstar he turned around and sighed. Then walked past Brightpaw, nudging her shoulder with his own before walking away from her. Dappledpaw stopped and glanced back at her, a smile etched on his handsome face. "Maybe after the ceremony, then we can get the new deputy something to." With one kast swish of his tail, the young tom disappeared into the crowd of cats.

The small tom sat tail. His spine straight and his tail laying flat behind him. Darkpaw looked at his fellow apprentices talk together and watched them gossip with their mentors as if they were their family. He never felt that way bout his mentor. The little tom huffed, eyes narrowed, as he observed quietly from the sidelines. His dark pelt shimmered in the sunlight as he took a deep breath. His eyes focused on Hallowedstar, not wanting to move from his slightly shady spot. Having a black pelt didn't exactly keep him cool in the warm rays of the sun.
