"Thanks!" Wolfclaw mews happily before picking up a fish from the fresh kill pile. "Care to share?" He questions smiling before dropping the prey at the apprentice's paws.

He licked his lips. "No. Thank you." he mewed, biting into the fish. Politely, he pushed it gently over to Wolfclaw.

Wolfclaw sighs before biting into the fish, savoring the flavor. He nudges the fish back to Cloudpaw, indicating he can eat the rest before asking, "Would you rather go hunting or battle training today?"

He wasn't very hungry anymore, so he pushed it politely towards Wolfclaw. "Either really. But I'd prefer battle training." he replied.

Wolfclaw quickly finishes the remains of the fish. Then he mews, "Battle training it is, we'll go soon."

She let out a small sigh of relief, and went off to find the rest of the patrol. She sniffed the air, trying to catch their scent.

His ears almost drop off his little yellow head, swallowing harshly. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up old wounds by saying that... It just seems parents these days aren't what they used to be... Or really anybody who's got a mate." The tender spot he'd open in this she-cat made him want to say more, but he was no good at comforting with words. "Everyone here wants you, if it matters."

He felt a little out of place with the deputy spot being taken by someone else and then that someone interrupting his conversation. "Uh, sure Wolfclaw. But I haven't seen Sprucewind around all day." Stonepaw and Violetblaze were safe and sound in camp, he'd have to see if the other warrior was around. "We can chat later I guess, Robinwing."

Her gentle eyes met Blacksky's, she pawed at the dirt softly. "Yes, my apprentice is the closest I will have. You are right. But I'll always have you." She began to flicker her tail gently and remarked,"You are my friend."

She padded up to Thunderhaze, who seemed to be looking for someone. "Wolfclaw told me that we have a patrol to go on." She said, pulling up next to him.

We all respect you and you're our clan mate ." Rank seemed to seem some cats unworthy and others were left standing on the untouchable hillside.

"Indeed, Stonepaw should be around but if we can't find Violetblaze we can manage. I'd like to see my apprentice hunt on his own." Sprucewind would likely get some solo hunting in if all went well. Fishing sounded like a good idea this time of day, prey was likely heading to the lake and streams for a drink.
