Stone paw nodded and said,"Thanks." He needed that, his ears perked up as he heard leaves rustling up ahead. His eyes watched the leaves carefully.

Her eyes clouded with fear, her body tensed up. She looked at Blacksky and said,"When I was younger, a star clan came to visit me.. She told me that death would be my gift.." Her tail flickered with anger as she continued,"When I was a kit, my other litter mates died due to green cough. My father.. Uh.. He died by drowning a few moons later. Then the star clan cat came again and told me I could prevent deaths and heal those in pain.. It was my destiny.. My destiny. She would come to me every single night and warn of me of things that would happen. My mentor passed away.. The cat came again to tell me.. That they all had to die for me to become what I was meant to be. But I don't understand.." Her voice trailed off. She looked at black sky and quietly said,"I've never told anyone about that. It was the worst thing I went through. I shouldn't of shared it, I am sorry." Her eyes looked for Juniper berries to change the subject. He had seen her at her worst time.. She was supposed to be strong. She felt disappointed that she craved the tom's affection so much.. She knew it was wrong.

His ears flick, thinking carefully about what he was hearing. It was hard to watch everyone you know die before your very eyes, out loving those you grew up with. He nods slightly, rearing his tail on her shoulder. "You are very strong to find meaning, a reason to keep going. You will live longer than most and it'll be hard to bare, but Starclan believes in you and so does the clan. Destiny or not, your happiness is the most important thing and I'm sorry if this heart to heart is causing you pain." He wasn't good at being comforting or affectionate, but he was trying his best without pushing limits.

"Eh, don't mention it. I'm sure your sister is more helpful than me anyway." The only female apprentice was this cats sibling, but they didn't seem horribly close either. It was curious to see who placed family before personal interest. Since he had no family, he wasn't sure what the choice was like.

She took a seat beside Blacksky,she began picking the berries off of the bush one by one. His warmth made it hard to concentrate, she looked at him softly and said,"It is okay, I know the truth will always hurt. Thank you for listening to me." She turned to face him as she spoke realizing she was closer then she meant to be. She tried to stay focused as her tail touched his. Her heart began beating faster as she sat there looking into his eyes.

Stone paw laughed a bit and mewed,"My sister is always busy with training. Plus i don't think it helps that I constantly bicker with her." He loved silverpaw but she was hard to love.

Again he felt his fur prickling with anticipation, not sure if it was the sinful kind or honest feeling. "Don't look at me like that... It makes me feel as though you are wanting something from me..." He mews a bit shyly, his mind telling him once again she was a medicine cat. "Friendship is all fine and dandy, but rules forbid I cross any lines."

He didn't know if should feel bad or just consider the tom lucky to even have family. Not having parents around was bad enough, it often left him lonely. "Better to have one than none, so says the elder before he passed away."
