foxwhisker nodded greatfully at sundapple, watching the cats go. he collapsed on his side, panting as he gritted his teeth. he licked at his chest, getting nothing but a mouthful of blood. he spat it out, squeezing his eyes shut as he stifled a cry of pain. he forced his eyes open, trying to stand. he hissed softly as he pulled himself to his paws.

Alderclaw let out a yowl of laughter when he heard the call for retreat. He gave his enemy one last cuff on the shoulder. "You hear that?" he taunted. "Retreat." He watched, tail lashing as the StreamClan warriors slunk off.

Briarheart screeched as the big tom continued to attack Falconpaw. She lunged at the warrior, biting hard into the muscle of his shoulder until she tasted blood. "Retreat!" she howled when she let go, "Didn't you hear your leader? What kind of fox heart continues attacking an apprentice after the battle is done?" The big warrior cast her a withering glare, and a shiver crawled across her spine. still, she held her ground.

SunDapple crouched at FoxWhisker's side, supporting him as he stood up. " WolfTail!" She called out, ignoring her own stinging wounds.

WolfTail stumbled forward, setting down the rest of the cobweb he had " We all need to get back to camp, I can't treat everyone."

FalconPaw coughed as he shuddered on the ground, blood streaming from his mouth " B-Briar...Li..." He moaned before slipping unconscious.

RowanShadow staggered to a standing position as RainStar quickly raced over to him " Are you-" she began to ask.
He nodded, cutting her off with a growl of pain.

RainStar lifted her head " Everyone back to camp! Every cat badly injured goes straight to The Medicine Cat Den!"

foxwhisker smiled greatfully at sundapple, slowly limping forwards as he gritted his teeth. he let out a soft his as he glanced back. he glanced back at falconpaw. "falconpaw!" he cried, stumbling over to the younger cat. he staggered to the cats side, crouching down beside him. he checked to make sure that he was still breathing and exhaled in relief when he saw that falconpaw was. he gritted his teeth in pain as he tried lifting the cat, hissing through his teeth.

RainStar and RowanShadow padded side by side, RowanShadow limping.

WolfTail blinked as the edges of his eyes grew dark. Then all he knew was the hard thud as he hit the ground.

SunDapple gasped, frowning as she grasped The Medicine Cat's scruff and hauled him along.

FalconPaw groaned in pain, one paw weakly thrashing out.

Alderclaw took in the sight of all the wounded, grateful that he only suffered from a few bites and scratches. Nothing that wouldn't heal in time.

Briarheart gasped as the apprentice lolled over weakly. She spun to face the tom who'd done this to him, but he was gone. Coward, she thought pointedly. She watched a moment as Foxwhisker tried to carry the apprentice on his own. "Here, let me help." she insisted quietly, grabbing the apprentice near the spine and bearing some of his weight.

"I've got you, falconpaw," foxwhisker said through gritted teeth. "thank you, briarheart," he murmured, limping at the back of the group. he winced softly in pain.

dapplenose looked up when she saw the cats, bloody and beaten, limping into camp. she gasped, running over to them.

SunDapple laid the unconscious WolfTail near DappleNose's paws " I don't know what happened. He didn't even get injured." She mewed.

dapplenose nudged wolftail gently before picking his up and bringing him into her den, laying him down in his nest.

"dapplenose!" foxwhisker yowled, staggering into her den with falconpaw. "help him!" he commanded, setting the apprentice down. dapplenose nodded ant pressed cobwebs against falconpaws wounds.

WolfTail had a fitful dream. It was dark, the moonlight was very dim, but what he could see horrified him. Before him lay his clan, all bloodied. Lifeless.
" Find Them! FIND THEM!" A voice yowled.


FalconPaw hissed, fighting between being awake and unconscious.
