The leader smiled as she heard him speak about the patrol

He sucked in a quivering breath, slinking into the dense brush and dissapearing into the blank shadows. His snowy fur cackled with exitement, the rush of adrenaline, a cool breeze drawing over his back. Pike trotted down torwards a small ravine, his frail sides heaving with every chilly breath as he waded through the icy water, washing his scent off. Hunger raged inside of him, the young tom gritting his teeth as he ducked his head beneath the overhanging branches, weaving through the array of trees. There was a large fox hole dug out beneath the roots of a bush, his tail thrashing with annoyance as he slipped inside of it. He was still inside clan territory- he couldn't leave, really...he needed those bits of prey, needed something to take from, to steal off of. Sucking in a sharp breath, Pike dosed off beneath the shadows.

Scarears looked up at Scorchfoot from her spot on the grass with a twitch of her ear. She let an eerie sigh, "Fine. It's not like I have anything better to do." The raven-black she-cat stood up, shaking her pelt to dislodge any scraps of grass still clinging to it, and padded over to the other cats in the patrol.

Goldenbranch brushed past Scorchfoot with a bundle of herbs in his jaws. The golden tabby set the herbs down and greeted the deputy with a warm smile, "Congratulations on the new mate, Scorchfoot." He purred. "I wish you the best of luck with Nightstar." With that, he gathered his bundle once again, and headed towards the medicine cat den.

Briar looked at Blackeye. "Please get us in. " she begged sitting next to Swiftclaw leaning against him. She looked up at Swiftclaw. "Please. " Shadow rolled his eyes

She heard Scarears, thinking that's really rude to say so she got out and headed for Scarears, "Scarears, do not speak to Scorchfoot like that!"
