Bravewhisker chuckled, "Okay," he smiled as he spotted the deputy and padded over. "Good evening Nightfang." He dipped his head to the higher ranked tom, "Are there any patrols to join?"

Deadpaw perked his head and scooted closer to the deputy and warrior. He was anxious to leave as well.

Nightfang finished his meal and nodded, "Actually yes. I was just about to round up some warriors. Say, mind you and possibly Twinpaw come with us so I can check out what happened with the dog?" He asked, tasting the air, he heard the slight scuffle of Deadpaw scooting closer, "Deadpaw, come with us please if you may, grab... Eh, I think four is enough?" He mewed

Bravewhisker flattened his ears. He didn't lying to his clanmates. "Er, sure." He motioned for Twinpaw to come over.

Deadpaw smiled, "Alright." He liked getting out of camp, too bad Tigerpaw couldn't come. He shrugged, the younger Tom would have other opportunities.

Twinpaw flicked her ears up and bounded over to Bravewhiskers side. With a gulp, she whispered in his ear, "I hope I did a good enough job..." Her eyes were filled with worry but masked it with happiness and being excited.

Nightfang flicked his tail to Bravewhisker, "Lead." He mewed, pausing so he could pad besides Deadpaw.

Bravewhisker nodded, "Okay." He forced a smile and lead the way out if camp and near the place where dog was scattered. He could only hope that it would rain, or better yet. A twoleg walk by the supposed place of the attack.

Deadpaw looked curiously at the deputy, what did he have in mind? He flicked his ears and yawned.

Nightfang's ears flicked. His mouth open and ears pricked as he looked around. The dogs scent was scattered everywhere along with Twinpaw's and Bravewhisker's. He got close to the boundaries and scented Bravewhisker's, Twinpaw's, and the dog's scent outside of the boundaries. "Did you go outside the boundaries?" he asked.

Deadpaw tilted his head, a small smirk finding its way onto his face. His multicolored eyes shimmering with curiosity.
