Featherstar padded out of her den to see a lone cat and she growled as concern sparked in her eyes "Who are you..."

"Gah!" I stepped back very quickly, startled. "I-Uh-I'm" I got distracted, she was very beautiful, and i couldn't think of why is was here. "I'm Dusk, a loner. I would like to see what i have to do to become a warrior." I tried to look confident and powerful.

Shiningpaw
Shiningpaw sorted herbs, Adderpaw was telling her a story, but she wasn't listening.

Adderpaw
Adderpaw told Shiningpaw all about his first catch. "And then, I climb all the way up to get it!" He boasted.

Silversky assisted her apprentice in sorting herbs, swiftly and skillfully lacing herbs into piles and placing them in their respectful places. Marigold.. Yarrow.. Juniper goes there.. She had one ear pricked for Adderpaw's story out of curiosity. She looked at him. "Nice catch!" She praised with a purr, then picked up another herb before looking at Shiningpaw generously. "Why don't you go out and play today? You've done a great job already. You deserve a nice break." She said with a smile.

Nightfang sat up in a tree, watching the camp from above, his green eyes narrowed.

She looked up at her mentor. "Oh... Okay. Come on Adderpaw." She mewed.

Adderpaw
He beamed. The medicine cat told him it was a good catch! "Thank you." He mewed politely. "Coming Shiningpaw." He meowed.

"Have fun!" She called after them. Great Starclan, that apprentice of hers made her so proud. She hummed a song quietly as she worked. Silversky closed her eyes and took a deep breath of the den's air. Who could ask for better life? An amazing clan, a great apprentice, and a den with its own special, sweet scent. She knew her pelt must smell like those silly little herbs too. She purred softly while she sang quietly.

Shadowclaw walked happily through the entrance with a dead vole hanging in his mouth. He jumped over and placed the fresh-kill in the pile. "That was a fun catch." He whispered to himself. He glanced over at Featherstar and his heart froze, he was always nervous to approach her, unless it was for a horrible part or a war or something. He stood there starring at her with admiration.
