"Hiya!"
You look down at your weary paws, where you see a tiny black she-cat.
"Who are you?" you demand, though she starts nudging your paws. "I'm Nightkit! Follow me!"
She bounds off, and you stumble after.
She stops at the top of a ravine. "This - this is PineClan!"
You marvel at the sheer amount of happy-looking cats below.
Quickly, she explained what exactly a Clan was, as well as StarClan and basic wild-living.
"Where did PineClan come from?" you asked after hearing her story.
"Well, there were the four Clans a long time ago, and then trouble, blah blah blah. Who cares!? What matters is now, not then!"
You flinch at her sharp tongue.
"Sorry, got carried away," she apologizes. "It's just not important, the past."
"What matters is our special cultures today. The Warrior Code has been very...refined. If you want to stay with us, read on!"
"Great, you stayed!" Nightkit weaves around your paws.
"Well, like I said...the Code has...changed."
I. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
II. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
III. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors.
IV. Prey is killed only to be eaten, OR used as practice for kits, unless times are hard and it is scarce. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
V. A kit must be able to hunt and know the Code very well before it may be an apprentice, no matter the age.
VI. Newly appointed warriors will spend a night hunting alone to fill the pile, and present their catch to the leader to be worthy of their title.
VII. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice OR if he/she has a mate and kits.
VIII. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled, unless the leader specifically states otherwise. If the deputy passes before they can receive their name and title, stones will be cast to choose.
IX. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
X. A night of fun and communion is held on the full moon each month.
XI. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Chase off any cat that is not seeking food or shelter, or does not want to meet the leader.
XII. No warrior can neglect any cat in pain or danger, even if the cat is from a different Clan or outside of the Clan.
XIII. The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code, arguments will result in punishment.
IVX. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless it is necessary for self-defense.
XV. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet, or the free life of a loner or rogue.
XVI. Medicine cats MAY have mates and cats, so long as they DO NOT forget their duty is to their Clan.

X. There's a minimum of TWO cats - a male and a female. You cannot just have one.
XI. No cats that were formerly outsiders. It's kinda silly for almost every cat to have one time been outsiders. :p
XII. Keep genders even! Try to keep only a one or two cat difference between your amount of males and females.
