Spirit tried to leap into a nearby bush, but wasn't quick enough. She was spotted

He smiled happily. "I-it's fine."

"So um... who are you?" she asked, tilting her head.

Spirit fell on her face, making a huge commotion in an attempt to hide. Her ears were flat down at her side and her tail went limp around her back left leg. She got up and smacked into a tree and fell unconscious to the ground

Alessa glanced to Spirit and tilted her head. "Uh..." she said softly.

Shade.

He smiled, ignoring the sound in the bushes. "Shade... um, my name, is Shade."

"I'm Alessa." she said, "It's nice to meet you..."

Spirit woke up in a start, suddenly realising what was happening. She looked to Alessa and Shade, ears limp again. "S-sorry" she muttered

"It's okay Spirit." she said, looking at the Espeon.

"S-so, who is this newcomer...?" She eyed Shade judgementally, trying to think whether he was nice or not...
