The medicine cat nodded. He had to ask the leader something about the medicine cat code. He really liked Rednose but he didn't know what to do. Of course the other tom didn't like him. He was sure of it. He just needed to speak with Duckstar about this. Did he make the right choice becoming a medicine cat? He shook the thought away. It was fine, he could like another cat couldn't he?

[Nebelung]

Rednose flicked an ear, glancing at his apprentice.
"Maybe i'll remember along the way." He turned and padded towards the camp entrance, his tailtip twitching.

Duckstar tilted her head, but nodded and padded towards her den, slipping in through the curtain of vines draping over its entrance. She moved to her nest and sat herself down in her nest, gesturing for him to sit as well.

He sat down. "I wonder what would happen if there was a tom in the clan who liked another tom? I know it's an unusual question but um just curious. Would they be able to be mates or would they only be allowed to be friends? It just confuses me because I have not heard of it happening before." He says keeping his fur flat as not to reveal anything.

[Nebelung]

Duckstar was obviously taken aback by such a question, caught off-guard. She hadn't... thought about that. She looked out towards the camp.
"I would hope... that any relationship resulted in kits. Especially now." The Clan's numbers were quite small. And she'd hoped this newleaf would bring with it kits. "But I suppose nothing can change preferences."

"Ok thank you. I was just unsure." He stands and dips his head before walking from the den. "Ok let's go!" He tells Rednose. He walks out of the camp entrance and waited for the other warrior. She said it would be ok. But I'm a medicine cat any relationship is forbidden. And he probably would want a she-cat. He thought then instead turned his attention to the territory. He knew where to find everything.

Leopardheart woke up. Her sleepy eyes blinked ajar. The deputy yawned and stretched to her paws. Leopardheart trotted to the fresh-kill pile, a pep in her step ever since her power nap. She nudged out a small rabbit and clamped it in her jaws. Leopardheart then swiftly bounded back to her den. She sniffed around and looked for Rednose to talk to him, only to see that he has gone. The deputy wanted him to like her back. Leopardheart began to eat the rabbit.

Smokepaw watched as Rosepaw left. His ears flattened, the den becoming empty. He sighed under his breath, tail drooping. Smokepaw lay there snug in his nest yet bored. ( Smoke is open )

Duckstar waved the medicine cat away with her tail and decided to head to her den until the group came back. She'd then have another patrol organized.

Rednose trotted after Shademoss, his black-tipped tail held erect. His gaze went behind them as he made sure Rosepaw was following before he turned his attention forward again.
"Okay, what are we looking for again? Rosepaw has a better memory than I do."

"We need Juniper berries he most and Yarrow the least. And its always nice to keep dock and Yarrow in the stores just in case we need it." He explains. "Yarrow looks like a huge cluster of flowers on a thin green stem. Be sure to use only the white ones. We don't know if the other colors have any different effect and I want to steer clear of anything that could possibly be dangerous. Dock leaves are huge leaves on one plant. You can just grab those. And Juniper berries are tiny blue berries that grow on trees."
