Hollowpaw had been awake for a little while, and was already out of the apprentice's den for the day. He was laying on a rather comfortable rock next to his sister, Whitepaw. The two were almost always seen together, as they were the only family and friends that each other basically had. They occasionally spoke to each other but they mostly just watched the rest of the cats silently, resting against each other. He stayed silent, looking over at Whitepaw occasionally but mostly keeping his gaze on the other cats in camp boredly.

Whitepaw had been awake for a little while, and was already out of the apprentice's den for the day. She was laying on a rather comfortable rock next to her brother, Hollowpaw. The two were almost always seen together, as they were the only family and friends that each other basically had. They occasionally spoke to each other but they mostly just watched the rest of the cats silently, resting against each other. Her curious eyes gazed around, not looking inside of the camp but looking around at the forest surrounding it.

Smoky sat perched on a low tree branch just near the clan's camp. Her eyes wandered around as she watched the cats getting up and doing whatever it was that they did all day. She was very interested with clan cats, however she greatly feared them and would never go too close to one. She'd never even dream of joining the clan, it would be horrible. Sighing to herself, she continued to watch the clan; she was rather bored but was used to the feeling, having been alone for almost all of her life.

~ B R A C K E N P A W ~

Still drowsy from the previous evening's brisk air, Brackenpaw awoke to a stifling warmth, radiating from the bodies of the other apprentices. He hated the cramped space and damp smells of the others cluttered together. Wanting to stretch, he trotted out from his den into the clearing to find it rather empty for such a late morning. Sunlight filtered in through the outside edges and he could distinguish the smell of fresh kill, though stale, in the fresh kill pile. He wanted to eat but forced down his hunger, knowing a hunting patrol would leave soon for a hunt.

The large apprentice stalked up the tree, his shoulders sticking out as he crouched low enough on the branch to drag himself silently up without being detected. From below, his brother shouted up to him, "Come on, Robinpaw. this is ridiculous." Robin paw grinned, before calling down in a whisper, "You 're just jealous that you couldn't catch one if you wanted." Rauntpaw rolled his eyes watching him. "We're out way to early, when the Clan wakes up they'll kn-" "They'll know I caught the first catch of the day, and got a hard one too." he boosted. Rauntpaw sighed, wondering why he had agreed to watch him in case he failed, (and as someone who could provide as a witness to Robinpaw's catch.) Robin paw wanted to catch a huge bird he spotted yesterday before heading back to camp, as soon as they were settled into their nests Robinpaw began to devise a plan to catch it.
