Mosswing snapped his attention to her, glancing at her wearily and silently. He stayed where he sat though.

She exited her den and stretched she found Tigerstripes and Sageheart talking. "Hello, Did you set up patrols Tigerstripes? Who did you assign?" She meowed a little curious about her deputy's dessicisons.

Lynxtooth dipped his head "Yeah sounds like a plan" He murmured glad to have something to do, he hated waiting around for orders when he could be doing something useful.

Darkclan

Tigerstripes blinked in surprise at Sageheart's suggestion, it was true that Mosswing rarely left the camp but he didn't want to risk the medicine cat. Anything could happen while out on patrol. He turned his attention to Mosswing "It's up to you if you want to go or not" He told him. His ears twitched and he turned to face his leader "Morning Russetstar" He mewed dipping his head in respect "I was just organising the Dawn patrol, Crowfrost will be leading it and will take Whitepaw and Brackenclaw. I assigned Sageheart but she's watching Blueleaf's kits and suggested for Mosswing to go instead"

Stormkit gulped his meal down, the second he was finished he pounced on Silverkit's tail and pinned it down. Silverkit whipped it from his grip and flicked him on the nose with it, still eating. But Stormkit was bored and he flopped down onto his back reaching out to paw at Silverkit's back legs until she spun round. He rolled onto his paws and ran away from her enticing her into a game of chase

Icekit licked the last scraps of meat from her muzzle and sat down to watch her brother and sister at play, every time they passed her they nearly hit her and she had to jump back with an indignant hiss.

Blueleaf stopped as she spotted something out of the corner of her eye, she could see a mouse nibbling on a nut a few tail-lengths away. She dropped into the hunting crouch and stalked towards her prey, the mouse never knew what hit it as she leaped and slammed her paw down on top of it. She swooped down and gave it's spine a quick nip to kill it. She ate it right then and there and sighed contentedly when she finished.

Mistytail smiled. "Wanna hunt near the river? I don't think any patrols's been sent out there in a while. There might be more prey there," she suggested.

He glanced to Tigerstripes and shook his head," I don't see why not, as long as Sageheart agrees to change the medicine cat bedding later." He smirked to the she-cat and left his den, swishing his tail. "If a fight happens I will make sure I'm safe.", he meowed to Russetstar," I'll come here for help if it looks like it's needed." He bowed his head to his leader, hoping she would agree to the deal. Plus, then he wouldn't have to handle his den and none of the apprentices could complain about it.

Sageheart bit back a sarcastic response," If Russetstar agrees I'll clean it when Blueleaf returns." She quickly glanced to the kits and made sure they where all there, safe.

As they were talking to Russetstar, Crowrost padded over to Whitepaw. "Time to go, we've been assigned on a patrol," he informed her.
