Lightclan

Lynxtooth shivered as he woke in the warriors den, he could feel a draught coming up behind him and growled with irritation, just his luck to get the one nest affected by the cold air, he was a senior warrior and he wasn't getting any younger. Lynxtooth groaned as he sat up rather stiffly then proceeded to stretch out each limb carefully. He padded out the den and blinked at the harsh sunlight, he hated days like these, days where you could find yourself blinded by the sunlight but you would still shiver from the cold wind. He sat just outside the den and scanned the camp for movement, he turned his gaze to the apprentices den and waited.

Cloudfur slept peacefully in his den. He was the only elder and sometimes he missed sleeping around other cats but he appreciated the peace and quiet now and again.

Redpaw had been up for several hours now, he was a restless little cat that loved to play and explore. His eagerness made him waste his energy and so come evening he'd be exhausted and useless until he got some sleep. He paced around a patch of sunlight next to the apprentices den unable to sit still and wait patiently for his mentor or another warrior to give him something to do.

Darkclan

Tigerstripes sat by the fresh kill pile inspecting it to see if he needed to send out a hunting patrol now or have it wait until later. It would all depend on who he saw first.

Stormkit woke and lay still watching his sisters twitching tails, several minutes passed and he gave in. He pounced on Silverkit startling her awake, Silverkit squeaked loudly as she felt a weight on her back, she growled and stood up quickly and Stormkit tumbled off her. She spun around and leapt for him, the two kits rolled about in their nest and into Blueleaf's belly.

Icekit flashed her siblings an annoyed glare when they woke her up from a perfectly pleasant dream, she moved away from the wrestling kits and deliberately sat with her back to them.

Blueleaf raised her head when her kits rolled into her. She had been awake for a while now but hadn't moved because she was enjoyed the peace and quiet of the nursery as her kits slept. She stood up in her nest and stretched "If you're all wide awake why don't you go and get yourselves some breakfast" She suggested wanting to get them out of the nursery for a little while.

Mistytail
Mistytail woke up from her nest and stretched. She shook the moss from her fur, and exited the warriors den. She sat near the fresh-kill pile thinking about what she'd do with her apprentice. Maybe a fighting lesson, they'd been doing hunting moves a lot recently.

Oakpaw slept. He'd worked hard the last day, and he was still tired.


DarkClan

Crowfrost
Crowfrost finished grooming his fur in his nest. He left the den, and heard commotion in the nursery. He grinned at that, Looks like the little kits are awake. Crowfrost sat down and waited for the deputy to notice him. The day's training would depend on if he or his apprentice were sent on a patrol.

Sandwhisker
Sandwhisker slept soundly in the Elder's den. She dreamed of catching mice. Oh how she missed being young and being sent on patrols. Not that being an Elder was bad... at least she got to tell stories to any apprentice or kit who was interested. That was always fun.

Hollowpaw had been awake for a little while, and was already out of the apprentice's den for the day. He was laying on a rather comfortable rock next to his sister, Whitepaw. The two were almost always seen together, as they were the only family and friends that each other basically had. They occasionally spoke to each other but they mostly just watched the rest of the cats silently, resting against each other. He stayed silent, looking over at Whitepaw occasionally but mostly keeping his gaze on the other cats in camp boredly.

Whitepaw had been awake for a little while, and was already out of the apprentice's den for the day. She was laying on a rather comfortable rock next to her brother, Hollowpaw. The two were almost always seen together, as they were the only family and friends that each other basically had. They occasionally spoke to each other but they mostly just watched the rest of the cats silently, resting against each other. Her curious eyes gazed around, not looking inside of the camp but looking around at the forest surrounding it.

Smoky sat perched on a low tree branch just near one of the clan's camp. Her eyes wandered around as she watched the cats getting up and doing whatever it was that they did all day. She was very interested with clan cats, however she greatly feared them and would never go too close to one. She'd never even dream of joining the clan, it would be horrible. Sighing to herself, she continued to watch the clan; she was rather bored but was used to the feeling, having been alone for almost all of her life.

Sageheart let out a soft purr, sunning herself. She glanced toward the nursery, listening to the kittens for a moment. Without hesitance she got up and bounded over," Blueleaf, it's nice to see your kittens so lively. Want me to watch them for you for a little bit?" She smiled kindly, another purr escaping her.

Mosswing sat up in his nest. He didn't care to be out with the group, perhaps counting his herbs would be a good idea or cleaning out his moss. He stretched out his body and stood up, peering out the medicine cat's den entrance.

When's Redpaw's paws started to ache he settled down in the patch of sunlight, he kept glancing at the warriors den every minute to check to see if his mentor was awake. He licked his paws in between glances to soothe them.

Lynxtooth noted Mistytail leaving the warriors den and he padded over to her "Good morning" He purred shaking out his pelt to keep out the cold.

Cloudfur's ears pricked up as the clan started to wake, he couldn't keep sleeping knowing that his clanmates would be up soon. He stood up slowly and stretched wincing slightly at the ache in his legs.

Darkclan

Blueleaf's ears twitched and she lifted her head to look at Sageheart "Good morning Sageheart" She mewed brightly, she glanced at her kits to see what they were up to. Stormkit and Silverkit were leaving the nursery but they kept pouncing on each other and slowing down their progress, Icekit was watching them and waiting for them to leave so she could also go. In response to Sageheart's kind offer she inclined her head "That would be nice Sageheart, just make sure you keep both eyes on them" She said with an amused purr "I'm going to go stretch my legs" She said moving past her kits and out of the nursery.

Tigerstripes saw Crowfrost and padded over to him "Morning Crowfrost, do you have any plans for Whitepaw today?" He asked.

Mistytail "Good morning," she greeted. She noticed he shook out his pelt, "Cold? Leaf-bare is coming," she meowed with a slight purr in response to his.

"Hello," he said with a simple dip of his head. "I was waiting to see if we'd be assigned on patrol before planning," he answered.

Sageheart nodded," I'll be sure!" She turned and glanced at Icekit for a moment, focusing on the other 2 within seconds. She smiled, her tail flickering in amusement. She remembered playing as a kit with her mother's tail, if she had sibling she'd have been so much more excitable, not that she wasn't when it came the right time to be happy.

"I was cursed with a thin coat" Lynxtooth grumbled glaring up at the deceiving sun "I just hope this Leaf Bare doesn't hit us too hard".

Cloudfur padded up the small slope and peered at the fresh kill pile. He noticed two warriors sitting down chatting near it, he didn't like that he preferred to eat in peace. He walked over to the food and plucked a mouse of the pile then settled down to eat it.



Darkclan

Tigerstripes nodded slowly "Good thinking, I need someone to lead the Dawn patrol, take Sageheart and Brackenclaw. You could also take Whitepaw"

Blueleaf glanced back at her kits briefly before she pushed her way out of the entrance, she padded out into the forest and sniffed the air. She could hear her stomach growling as she walked and she kept an eye out for prey, she'd rather catch her own breakfast then take from the fresh kill pile especially since she hadn't been able to hunt after her kits were born.

Icekit skipped past her siblings, Stormkit and Silverkit were tussling on the ground again, and went up to the fresh kill pile. She pulled out a vole from the pile and glanced at her siblings "Hey stop fighting for one second and come and get breakfast" She snapped. She didn't like sharing with them because they never stopped pouncing on one another even when they were doing something else, like eating, and that meant she had to wait for them to stop so they could all eat. Her tail twitched with impatience as they stopped their game and ran over to join her, the three kits tucked into their meal.
