Lightrun;
The grey tom scouted out the black bird he'd scented. He saw the dark bird pecking among some tree roots. He snuck up on it. His tail brushed some leafs, and it cause the bird to freeze. It leapt upwards, letting out a loud alarm call. The call was suddenly cut off as Lightrun leapt nearly 6 feet into the air. He snagged his claw on the birds wing, causing it to plummet downwards. The tom landed on all fours and killed it. He smiled.

Willowflight;
The she-cat raced after the squirrel. The squirrel leapt up and tree, but Willowflight followed, clawing her way up quickly. She raced among the branches, keeping balance with her tail. As the squirrel leapt towards another tree, WIllowflight did the same. She managed to sink one claw into it's rear, causing it to let out a surprised squeak. Willowflight landed on all fours neatly, and bit the creature quickly. She purred at the catch.

Lostheart;
The she-cat found the vole she'd scented and snuck up on it silently. The squeak of a squirrel, and the alarm call of a bird caused the vole to freeze. Lostheart took the chance. She raced forwards, barley snagging the animal's long tail. She killed it quickly as it let out a terrified shriek. She picked up the animal.

Sprucewind
She swiftly darted forward, hooking the vole in her class as she tossed it in the air, dazing it. She snapped its spine before bringing it over to her mouse. She looked at the sun again to see how much time she had.

Lightrun-Willowflight-Lostheart;
They all gazed up at the sun. Sun-high.

Lightrun;
The tom trotted back to camp, depositing the large black-bird he'd killed. He was the first back. He settled down and groomed his fur.

Willowflight;
The she-cat trailed in soon after Lightrun, leaving her plump squirrel in the pile. She retired to a shady area under a bush to cool down and groom herself.

Lostheart;
The she-cat began to head out as a startled mouse ran infront of her. She snapped it's neck, and headed back to camp, satisfied with her kills. Depositing them, she settled down to groom her ruffled fur.

Sprucewind
She padded in right as Lostheart deposited her kill. Dropping off her own prey, she looked at the cats. "So... I guess we go back to camp now?" She remarked. Not knowing what to say, she sat down, looking at the impressive pile of fresh kill.

Thornpaw : Open
Thornpaw padded out of the apprentice's den, stretching with his tail curled over his back. He glanced around the clearing, and not noticing anything interesting, walked over to the fresh-kill pile. There wasn't much left, so he sunk his teeth into a sparrow and carried it back toward his den. When there was nothing left of the sparrow but a small pile of bones and feathers, he pawed some dirt over the remains and licked the brown tabby fur on his chest. Thornpaw looked over to the warriors who just returned from a hunting patrol and smiled. "It looks like hunting was good," he commented to no one in particular.

Featherstar;
The leader leapt down from the high-rock. "Good job, all of you, and thank you." she meowed, referring to the impressive amount of prey.

Lightrun;
"No problem," he mewed. He looked over at Sprucewind.

Willowflight;
She simply nodded her head.

Lostheart;
She smiled," You're welcome," she meowed.

Sprucewind
She dropped off her kill in the pile. " Yup. New-leaf brings plenty of plump prey." She remarked to Thornpaw as she laid down in the clearing, letting the warm sun once again great her pelt. She let out a small purr of happiness, her white tail tip twitching in delight.

Willowflight;
The she-cat stood and padded over to Thornpaw. "Greetings," she mewed with a dip of the head.

Featherstar;
She padded over to Willowflight and Thornpaw. "Willowflight, I'd like you to mentor Thornpaw, please," she meowed.

Willowflight;
The she cat nodded, and watched as Featherstar left. "Well, I guess I'm your mentor. Nice to meet you," she meowed.
