The small russet-furred tom-kit gestured a fore-paw toward the mouse. "M-Mouse . . . ?" He asked his mother. Wait a second! I'm named after that thing? He thought, eyes narrowing slightly. "W-Why can't I b-be na-named Strongk-kit?"

Sounds like quite an adventure.... What a nasty injury that is! Your such a tough little warrior, the roan colored abby said with the faintest traces of a smile on her lips. Turning her jade gaze back to Mousekit, she chuckled softly upon seeing Silentkit's questioning gaze. Mousekit will soon be joining you in training, the she cat purred, although she felt anything but happy. He was too young. Way too young. Hearing his question, the queen sighed softly. Because Mouse was your father's former name. It is a honorable name, it means you are quick, she said, tickling his nose with the tip of her tail. Looks can be deceiving, dear. As you grow, you will learn to appreciate your name.

Snowfire pressed himself lower. He could see plainly how angry Blackstar was, from the lashing of his tail to the way he stood. Narrowing his turquoise eyes, he crept backwards slightly, being careful not to step on a twig. Just a bit longer...

Embarrassed of being unable to finish a single word without stammering, he just gave a nod of his head and rested his chin on his paws. She's right. I'll appreciate it someday . . . And if Papa's name was Mouse, then I won't change it for the world. He rested his gaze on Rosewing and Silentkit, blinking. Looks can be deceiving . . . Luckily, I don't need my voice in battle. Just my teeth and claws; and I've definitely got those both!

The queen looked up at FlameHeart. She shook her head lightly."I´m sorry, but SilentKit already has a mentor. Other than that, the other kits are too young." She meowed."U- Wait!" She called after the warrior, as they began to run off. She sighed sadly.

Silentkit crammed another bite into her mouth, tail swaying. "Vith mouth ith vthy thasthy!" (translating to "This mouse is very tasty!") She mrowled through a mouthful of mouse. She swallowed, whiskers tingling. "Hawktalon'straningmeandIclimbedatreeandIgotathornstuckinmypawanditstillhurtsbutIdon'tcarebecauseitwasfun!" (translating to "Hawkfrost's training me and I climbed a tree and I got a thorn tuck in my paw and it still hurts but I don't care because it was fun!") She gabbled, oblivious that her words sounded like an endless jumble of consonants and vowels. She was clearly excited for the next session, completely forgetting about her wound. She looked at Mousekit, wondering what he was thinking. She then quietened down and crammed yet another mouthful of prey into her mouth.

The queen smiled at SilentKit, licking over her head."Eat your food, before you talk." She purred.

She stared at him. She had never seen him so angry. she stared at the pad of her paw, not daring to look at the eyes she had once admired. She curled up, rain pelting her fur. She felt the need to protect herself. He was so angry at that moment, that she thought he was going to take a blow at her.

Noting Mousekit sudden silence, the queen gave him a questioning look, but didn't press. Hopefully, one day your stammer will leave. But regardless, you can still become one of the greatest warriors. I believe in you, Mousekit; I hope you believe in yourself. Laying her head down on her paws, she drew Mousekit closer with her tail, yawning slightly. Her ears pricked with interest upon hearing Silentkit; it took the she-cat a few seconds to process what was said. I know, right? Since your a big warrior now, you get to eat those all of the time. I'm glad to hear that, dear. Perhaps I'll be able to witness the next training session. I need to see exactly what Mousekit will be doing. Silentkit makes it sound wonderful, but I'm not sure if my little Mouse is ready.

Starclan help Bluefeather. Don't lay a paw on her, Blackstar. Snowfire muscles tensed slightly, but he didn't stir. Blending in amazingly with the area around him, the former rogue stayed stock still against his better judgement.
