The pearl tom angled his gaze towards the sky; perhaps from slight embarssment. Thank you, the senior warrior replied to the compliment, dipping his head respectfully before his turquoise eye narrowed at a nearby bush. It is too early to tell. But for now, I believe it is safe to say that Shadowfur is loyal to Blackstar. He is the only one I know of, currently.

Sniffling slightly the warrior sneezed, letting loose a slight huff. These herbs were truly becoming annoying. Shaking his head slightly, he flexed his pink claws, resisting the urge to tear off the herb wrap upon his maw. What would be useful to know is how many lives he has remaining. If he has any at all, he murmured to Littlestep, burying his catch at a tree root nearby walking deeper into the forest. He swore he'd heard a crow within the ever twisting boughs. That would be quite a catch to bring home.

She stood up again to follow him. "Oakfrost would know that," she told him. "He's the medicine cat, he has to know. I can tell you though, that he does not have all nine." She thought back to when she was a warrior. "I'm sure he lost one in a battle with a badger, many moons ago. I remember, we lost two good cats then." She looked down at the ground. "Poor Adderpaw, he never stood a chance against the beast. It was his confidence that was his downfall, you know." she told Snowfire, her voice a little lighter than before. "We always said that he'd go out because of it." She noticed Snowfire scenting the air, and followed his lead. "After that crow, I presume?"

"BluePaw, we aren´t using claws." The tom spoke sternly as he prepared to pounced. Lightly settling in, the tom leaped towards BluePaw, stretching his large paw out infront of BluePaw as he leaped towards her. His paw pulled the apprentices paws away, making her drop down.

BlackStar smiled lightly."Would you mind if I´d take a few bites?" He asked in a calm tone as he approached the same fresh-kill as BlueFeather.

But when? What if it will be too late? though Smokepaw doubtfully, looking up at the sky. Oh, Starclan, please. Send us the sign soon! For the sake of us all! He sent a silent pray to the high sky, though he doubted that any of their ancestors is listening. But he hoped, for the sake of his own clanmates, that Starclan won´t leave them now, in this dark time that was coming. "I don´t care about what did Blackstar say! I´m not going to let any elder die, because of starving. I´ll help them whatever I´ll be punished for it." he said determined in serious voice, his greenish eyes never leaving darkening sky.

She looked down at her apprentice and smiled, touching his shoulder gently with her tail. "Your determination will get you far," she said. "However, be careful not to say such things in front of Blackstar." she warned Smokepaw. She knew that she would never forgive herself if her apprentice was caught. She decided to lighten the mood a little. "Would you like to continue hunting? The prey is running well today, perhaps we could bring home one more before we head back to the camp."

She smiled and nosed it over to him "I do not mind at all." she purred and licked any blood off that was on her muzzle

I will be sure to ask him when I get the chance. Unfortunately for myself, all senior warriors are like his kittypets. We don't leave his side without permission, Snowfire said, obviously agitated but keeping his voice down so he didn't startle any prey nearby. Flickering his ears back, he froze and listened with rapt attention as Littlestep mentioned valuable information.

Quite a shame to be taken away at such a young age in such a way. But thank you for telling me, that information was quite useful, the senior warrior mewed, his tone grave as he shook his head ever so slightly. Confidence. Such poison these days. The pearl white warrior nodded slightly. Yes. Starclan help me, crows have quite nasty claws.

Taking a few steps forward, he spotted the crow. Big, strong looking. Pulling at something in the ground, presumably a worm. Crouching low, the pure tom began to creeping forward slowly, his turquoise eyes locked on it. The senior warrior wasn't sure if it heard him or spotted him, because the crow crouched and opened it's wings to fly. Instead of stopping, Snowfire lunged a bit to far away, his paw latching onto one of it's talons, dragging the creature down at the exact moment the crow clawed his muzzle in an attempt to get away. Hissing, the tom adjusted his claws onto it's back and messily finished it with a bite to the back of the neck, sighing aloud as he backed away.

His wrap was torn. Glancing at Littlestep, the senior warrior knew he should've probably let the crow go. But with so little prey in such a desperate time, he wasn't about to let go of such a catch. Even if it was sloppy. How bad is it? he mewed, licking at his claws before pawing slightly at the torn wrap.
