Oceanpaw nodded and stayed Quiet as they passed by shadowfur. when rabbitfur said, 'show me What your know' she wasn't Sure What to start with, "Uh.." she mew quietly and flicked her ear, "i guess ill start with the forepaw slash." She mew and Slice downward with her front paw at the body of rabbitfur Without touching a hair on his fur.

He blinked and nodded his head.
"Good. Don't forget your claws. They make a huge difference between a slap and a slice. A slap won't protect you." He climbed off the root and stood in front of her. "Are you familiar with the leap-and-hold and drop-and-roll? Could you tell me the difference between them?"

Rabbitfur flicked an ear, narrowing his gaze further.
"Yes. Or, you against a much bigger opponent. Such as, but not limited to: dogs, fox, larger cats, and possibly large birds." He quieted himself a moment before deciding he'd told her enough about that. "And the drop-and-roll is the counterattack to the leap-and-hold, if you happen to be attacked by smaller opponents such as, but not limited to: cats, birds, rats, and weasels." He flicked his tail before suddenly fluffing out his fur, appearing much larger. "You are to perform the leap-and-hold on me. Leap at me and holdfast. If you need to use your claws, go ahead. When you are in my, or your opponent's back, they cannot strike you. Inflict damage then, but be wary for the drop-and-roll."

Oceanpaw nodded and let out a deep breath. She unsheathed her claws which was very small but sharp for an apprentice. Oceanpaw springed onto rabbitfur's back she was beyond the range of rabbitfur 's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. She didn't want to hurt rabbitfur too badly and she though she wasn't gonna do that because she had such small claws.

Rabbitfur slipped slightly beneath his apprentice's weight. Not that she weighed much - she actually didn't. But he hasn't realized how tired he was. But he regained his footing and look!ed up at her from over his shoulder.
"From there, you can perform scruffshake, which is where you grip your opponent's scruff tightly in your jaws and shake it aggressively and violently, but this is more effective on opponents you've managed to bring down, such as if I had fallen when you leaped onto me. You can also rake your claws along my sides and nip at my neck. But what you need to look out for is the drop-and-roll. The opponent beneath you will drop and roll in an attempt to crush you. Leap off when you believe they will do this. And when they drop, turn and go for their belly." He signalled that he was about to drop.

Glanced back at FallowPaw as they got nearer to the camp and then swished his tail then slightly yawned as he kept walking on

Fallowpaw perked up slightly as she caught Longtail looking back at her, but once he returned to facing forward, she slumped again. It was... difficult to be optimistic about her catch when it was giving her a cramp in her neck from dragging it. By the time they reach camp, half of its fur would be scraped off or caked with mud. She paused to readjust how she was carrying the hare. Perhaps... holding it here? She attempted it, but she groaned irritably as it fell out of her jaws and crumpled onto the ground. Great, she thought bitterly. More mud. No one is going to want to eat it now...

BlackStar approached the nursery, entering silently as he creeped up on RoseWing."Hello.." His eery voice suddenly echoed through the nursery den.

RoseWing felt her fur raised as she quickly turned around, her claws unleashed as she stared up at BlackStar in a defensice pose."B-BlackStar." She said, her voice shivering. Her tail swung by SilentKit and LittleStep, alerting the two to back up to farest corners of the nursery.
