Everyone knows Flickerstep, the cheerful, reliable warrior with lost of enthusiasm for every task and plenty of cunning that she uses to benefit the clan greatly. They don't see her manipulative, ambitious side, or how she's been placing herself just where she needs to to put her paws on the path to leadership. She's not evil, she just believes that the usual path to leadership is not only boring but inefficient. Earning cats' trust through great deeds was much less enticing than befriending them with a purpose.
History:
Not much, except that she once did have an apprentice, making her eligible for the deputyship. However, her apprentice died in a tragic accident that she refuses to speak to anyone about. All anyone knows is that she found his broken body as she went out on a hunting trip, and is prone to tears if others question her about it.
