Emberpaw padded out of his den and stared yawned, stretching his paws before padding to the fresh-kill pile and picking out a squirrel. Life had been pretty uneventful lately and his mood had slowly been growing more sour over time. In fact one look at his brother's face sent him spiraling into a fit of contempt. He dug his claws into the ground when he spotted both of his siblings on the far side of the camp. That of course had to be the time Mudpaw looked up and the two distant brothers made eye contact.

"Stop that you fungus," Mudpaw groaned as the tiny grey kit leapt over him more than once. It would have been fine if she were actually able to clear the height, but alas, the tiny kit kept hitting him with her paws each time she used him as her personal hurdle. His eyes were full of warmth and he looked across the camp lazily and met eyes with his brother Emberpaw who was watching them. Automatically, the brown apprentice stood up and began to push Dovekit away behind a den, "Come on. It's shady here."

"Aww come on you big bore," Dovekit chirped happily, though she followed Mudpaw without question. She turned her head around and spotted Emberpaw stalking away into the apprentice's den. Her orange older brother looked frustrated though she never knew why. Nonetheless she would looked at Mudpaw as if he were her father so she usually obeyed him, except those nights when Emberpaw would come and see her. She liked those nights.

Silentstar sat on his usual rock and stared at his clan with that usual expression. It was an expression of hidden meaning and even the most perceptive cats would never be able to pick it apart. He flicked his tail and stared upwards for a moment as if waiting for anything to happen. Though nothing would happen in such a small territory. 'Small territory'. The very though made him upset as he thought about this. As the largest clan, it was about time that adjustments were made. But of course, these thoughts would never leave his tongue. There was no need to upset the weak-hearted with such troublesome thoughts. Not really.

Silverpaw padded through the wheat and purred at the feel of it running against her soft fur. How anybody could want to live anywhere else was beyond her. She was hunting at the moment and though it was hard not to get lost in the sweet smell of wheat, the wind brought a rabbit's scent to her. With an imp-like grin, she began to pinpoint exactly where the prey was hiding.

A small figure gently crept through the undergrowth, stalking a thrush. The oblivious bird hopped on, not knowing that the hunter was behind it. Then, all of a sudden, bam! It's neck was snapped, and Ravenpaw looked up with triumph, only to gaze into deep blue eyes and a cat with fur like moonlight...? A Wheatclan cat! He jumped backwards when their noses touched, surprised, probably even more surprised than the she cat. "Who... Who are you?" He raised an eyebrow as he quickly jumped back.

.:ＥＣＨＯＰＡＷ:.

The gentle gray she cat was curled in a ball, eyes shut as her tail curled over her nose. She and her mentor had been training late, all the way up till midnight... But she didn't mind. After all, she was only being harsh because that's what a warrior's life was like. Oh well. Echopaw roused herself, shaking off bits of small moss and getting up, deciding to find her mentor again.

Duststar yawned as she stepped out of her den. She looked at her clan, pride swelling in her belly. even though she hadn't been leader long she had come to love all of her cats as if they were her own kin. She rose from her position and walked to a mound of wheat at she edge of camp. She jumped onto it and surveyed her territory. She looked at the edges of it until she couldn't quite see the borders but she already knew what was there. Im going to have to send a patrol out before to long she thought and set off to the fresh kill pile.

She looked at the tabbycat called sammie and then looked at creampaw. She was giving him an herb t calm him down and she felt a bristle of pride swell inside her belly. She then looked the her herb supplies and frowned. She looked at cream paw and saidCreampaw, We need to go and collect more marigold and a few other herbs. Are stores are short and i'd rather you come with me and learn what the herbs look like before picked. We should go now before to long. She shooed her out and then looked at the she-cat on her den floor. Sootheart's breathing was ragged as she slept. She looked at her and realized that the poultice hadn't been put on and cobwebs were askew. She went to her herbs and chewed some of the last of the marigold and another herb to apply to them. She then put them on a leaf as she undid the cobwebs and applied the poultice and cobwebs. she looked at the tabby again. Your lucky we weren't already gone. Why did you fight please tell me. Also what is your name? I am Whisperwinds and the small she-cat who was just talking to you was Creampaw. What do you want?" she said polity and quietly. She felt something strange about this tom, she as if in the presence of the warrior rather than a kitty-pet of which he reeked of.

The she cat quickly grabbed his scruff and placed him in the empty nest next to Soothearts. She went to grab to herbs for Sammie to eat. Chamomile and Dandelion Leaves she pushed them over to him. "Eat them they will calm you down and as I said she will be fine I gave her things that will stop bleeding and infection. Now you eat those." she said pointing her claw at the leaf and flowers.

He growled "He is nuts. I need to get out of here. Starclan help me." he didn't care what happened. He raced as fast as he could back to his twoleg nest. He jumped the fence and his twoleg let him in. He was taken to the vet to be treated. There was really not much wrong with him. He curled up in his warm bet and ate kittypet food "This is where i belong. I am never going anywhere near that territory again."
