Pinekit watched in silence, seeing Lilykit's thoughtful expression, and Rosekit's confused one. He decided that it was best to just let the events unfold...

"Y-you... " Rosekit started then lowered her voice, "thought that?" She whispered.

Lilykit looked at Pinekit and Frostkit. "Excuse us please, we'll be right back." She motioned with her tail for Rosekit to follow her a little bit away from the others. "Yes!" She said, her eyes wide. Can you hear me? She thought, wanting to see if it was true...

Well if i've heard you all this time I can now... Rosekit thought, rolling her eyes. "Yes." She said.

"Whoa." Lilykit said. "Then you must be, psychic or something. Can you just read my mind? Try reading someone else's!" She said, still whispering

Pinekit looked over at Lilykit and Rosekit. I wonder what they're talking about... He thought.

"Pinekit's wondering what we're thinking about." Rosekit whispered, looking dircectly at him as though he was speaking it himself.

"You are a psychic! Ohmigosh! That's awesome!" Lilykit said, still managing to keep her voice low so no one could hear.

Rosekit smiled, "This is awesome." She said, lifting her chin as if she was superior to everyone else.

Lilykit motioned with her tail for them to walk back over to Pinekit and Frostkit. It's best to appear normal. She thought, both to her and Rosekit. She fell silent, lost in thought.

Yeah Rosekit thought to Lilykit. "Sorry, we are back." She said, smiling as they rejoined the other two kits.
