"Morning Rosekit." Shadowfall said. "Can you tell me how old you are today?" He asked, smiling.

"I don't know. It's too early for questions." Rosekit said, licking her paw and runnig it over her nose and whiskers.

[Lyrical_Rose]

Shadowfall smiled. "You're six moons today." He said. "Has anyone told you what happens when kits turn six moons old?"

Lilykit narrowed her eyes, thinking. "Isn't it something about being an apprentice?" She asked tentaively.

Roekit sat, watching. She groomed herself.

[Lyrical_Rose]

"Exactly. You two are goign to be apprentices today, and learn to be warriors." Shadowfall said. "You're ceremony will be at sun-high. Which is..." He trailed off, looking skyward. "Very soon. You two slept late."

"But i'm hungry!" Rosekit complained.

Lilykit rolled her eyes. "Well eat then." Honestly, what does Pinekit see in her? She thought, forgetting about her sister's ability to read minds for a moment.

Rosekit looked sharply at Lilykit, eyes tearing up. She walked away sadly to the fresh kill pile.

Lilykit looked confused. Then she remembered. She followed her sister quickly. "Rosekit! I'm sorry! I forgot...I didn't mean to say it I just..." She blinked sadly, at a loss for words.

"You didn't want me to hear." Rosekit sqeaked, sitting down. Her ears drooped.
