Pinekit kept running, knowing that he could never fight off the bear. He raced right past the tree that Lilykit and Rosekit were in.
Lilykit saw Pinekit and looked confused. She saw the bear and her mouth dropped open. "OMG!!!" She leaped out of the tree and raced after the bear.

Lilykit ignored Rosekit, and closed her eyes, still running toward the bear. She thought maybe she could scare it away...
Suddenly, clouds filled the sky and thunder struck. Rain came down in torrents, but the kits stayed completely dry.
Pinekit jumped when he heard the thunder. He turned around and saw the rain, and the dry spots surrounding him, Lilykit, and Rosekit.

Lilykit smirked at the bear and leaped into the air, a column of earth shot up underneath her adn she landed on it. She kept leaping, and eventually the earth made a "stair-step" formation. Lilykti was now a few feet above the bear.
