Gingerstar looked at the committee room, and yowled: "Look! Starclan is displeased with us!" The moon had a light cloud covering, and through the light that shines through, Gingerstar was alarmed to see Stormclan's leader's eyes gleam red. The ginger tabby wanted minimal conflict. She too, could hear howls that signals the prophecy was beginning. The prophecy... thought Gingerstar with a shiver.

As the first of the two wolves jumped onto the Hightree, Gingerstar had but one thought: the safety of the clan. She landed on them, hooking her claws into their fur. One turned around and bit her leg, making Cherryclan's leader yowl in shock and pain.

What happened next was a blur as the warrior sped towards her leader, in an attempt to fight the wolves.
