Dipperstar knew something wasn't right. He couldn't figure it out, and he went to the border between Starclan and the Dark Forest. There, he heard Blackstar tormenting another cat. Can't do anything about that, the old leader thought sadly. Then he heard the name Breezestar. He knew that she had some lives left. So why was she in the Dark Forest? He crossed the border, fur tingling, and he realized that he could be heading towards a second, permanent death. But he couldn't have a dead cat hurting a live cat. He reached the area where he could hear and see Blackstar and Breezestar, and said as calmly as he could: "Hey, Blackstar. Why don't you pick on someone your own size?"
