"this place was always meant for me, not some hawkfrost's son rubbish," he spat, lashing his claw out at the tom. "swiftstar chose me on her own accord, not because i was bramblestar's nephew," he sneered. "besides. you know nothing of leadership."

mudstripes glanced up, the prey he was about to catch running away. he growled, padding over to stoneheart. "you just made me lose my catch!" he snapped. he spotted crystalfrost and his eyes widened slightly. "a newcomer? wow."
