"Where was feathertail?" He launched himself up and through the flames in search of Feathertail. "Feathertail!" He yowled through the flames.

Craneflight lay there, motionless on the ground as she was encircled by fire.

Adderkit looked at the She-Cat that ran up to him, "Where's Ginkit?!" He asked, his voice sounding worried.

Feathertail Let out a yowl, as the flames bit at her ears, "I'm over here Hawkcry!" She cried as she tried crawling closer, but her leg wouldn't allow her to move any further. Her ears ached as one burned away slowly as she tried crawling slower then before. "I'm other here!"

Shadowfang ran for the river, then saw Feathertail stumble down the log. He didn't have a large enough mouth to pick her up. He left her, she looked like she was doing fine on her own…

Heatherpaw dangled from Shadowfang's jaw as he ran, her eyes still closed.

Craneflight twitched her tail breathing in the smoke

Her 3rd life leaked away from her.

She looked at the kit and whispered to it "Call for help, as loud as you.... can........" she faded away.

Adderkit watched as the She-cat risked her life for him. "No! Get up! Get up!" He said as he leapt through the loop of fire on the ground and looked for the one who saved his life. "Come on!" He yowled as he spotted her laying on the ground, breathing in smoke her tried grabbing her by the scruff and dragging her, but he was to weak. "Get up! Get up…" He cried as he nudged her neck calmly.

(Ripplesong and Hawkcry are now siblings)

Ripplesong looked up, she could see something amidst the smoke. A body in fact; she stood up. "Stay here Ginkit she mewed. She then kept through the flames to the body. The flames licked at her, but on singeing her pelt. She saw in a circle of flames, Craneflight's body. She jumped over the wall of burning flames, a grabbed Craneflight's scruff. And tried pulling her toward the river.

"C'mon Adderkit!" She yowled.

Craneflight opened her eyes and got to her paws picking up the kit and racing to the river.

[rogan]

Adderkit looked at the other She-cat and coughed, the smoke filling his lungs quickly. He walked next to her, with a small limp. He yowled in pain when a flame burnt the fur and some skin of his hind leg.
