"Great!" She purred. At first she'd felt awkward to approach her mentor and ask, but relief filled her when she realized that there was nothing to worry about; Wolfstar seemed in a good mood. She began to lead the way out of camp, the wind picking up and ruffling her medium-length fur. She knew, however, that the heavy breeze was potentially dangerous; one stray gust could knock even the strongest cats off of a small cliffside.

whisperpaw padded out of the tunnel beside hisspaw and looked around with curiosity glazing her gaze

Wolfstar lead Fallenpaw to a small clearing at the end of the gorge. "This is where you will train, however, after today I will be assigning you a new mentor."

Rosefall sighed and closed her eyes, her mind racing with thoughts about a particular tom cat. She hissed and shook her head rapidly, trying to forget her blasphemous ideas.

Hisspaw sniffed around, but all he could smell was the burning odor from the red grass. "What is this place...?"

whisperpaw "i dunno... i wonder where those cats went from here..."

[<Terminal March>]

Hisspaw looked around, trying to see anything through the dense grass, he slowly stepped forward only to bump into the mysterious golden she cat from before. "Oof!" He exclaimed as he fell on his back.

The she cat seemed unfazed, she looked down at Hisspaw with her beautiful blue eyes. "Huh? What are you...? Wait! You're that apprentice!" She exclaimed, practically jumping for joy. "We finally found you.."

She followed him, listening to what he was saying. As he brought up the words 'new mentor', she paused in her pawsteps. "What?" She protested, her eyes growing dull with sadness. "But . . . Why? Am I a bad apprentice?"

[<Terminal March>]

"Not at all." Wolfstar said. "The issue is, I am unable to reliably mentor you." He added. "So Mossfoot will be your mentor after today."

RiverPool looked at CopperShadow,

MossFoot looked around camp. "What now..." He groomed himself.

Fallenpaw lowered her head, slumping her shoulders. Does he not see anything in me? Don't I have potential? I've worked so hard to impress him, what happened? She sighed and flattened hears ears. "Okay," she said, her voice merely a whisper.

[<Terminal March>]

Wolfstar looked down. "Listen, you have potential..." He said. "But I am not the one to bring it out.."

Rosefall stepped out of the den and yawned, trudging off towards the forest to gather more herbs.
