Thornclaw nuzzled Fallencinder, he then heard the commotion outside, seeing lions gathered around Maplestar.

Maplestar yelped as one of the lions swatted at her with claws unsheathed. "Let us kill her.." one of them snarled, eager to kill this she cat.

Hisspaw curled up in his den and sniffled, he was scared to eventually lead this clan.

[S u b d u e]

RiverWing growled. "Whatever..." She faced WindClaw and dipped her head. "Thank you." She looked at MapleStar and sighed.

DustClaw sighs. "Whatever is wrong....it's not our problem...."

[<Terminal March>]

Windclaw glared at Maplestar, her fur standing on end.

Kasaja nodded and looked down at Maplestar.

[S u b d u e]

RiverWing wanted to kill the she-cat herself. "WindClaw..." She trailed off.

Dust law layed down.

[anathema]

Riftstar
"No!" His voice rang clear, echoing through the gorge. "You must wait. Eventually you may sink your claws into her flesh, but not until later."

Fallencinder
She looked up. "They're going to kill her . . . I thought she was a good leader."

[<Terminal March>]

Windclaw looked at Riverwing. "Have patience." she said softly. "Justice will be served." she added. "Riftstar, if you do not act soon, there will be trouble." she boomed, her voice echoing through the gorge.

Thornclaw heard Windclaw's booming voice and gulped. "W-who is she...?" he asked.

[anathema]

Fallencinder
"I don't know, but she's obviously someone who wants Maplestar dead; and soon." She replied.

Riftstar
He took note of the moon rising in the sky, leaping atop a nearby boulder. "Everyone, gather around . . . It is time for me to determine Maplestar's rightful punishment."

[S u b d u e]

RiverWing stayed quiet.

[<Terminal March>]

Windclaw took a deep breath and leaned inwards from her perch.

Maplestar shuddered in fear as she felt the gaze of the lions and the cats burning into her.

Thornclaw heard Riftstar's words. "Maplestar... she's going to be killed...."

[anathema]

Riftstar
His eyes blazed like wildfire. "Today, Maplestar has portrayed the unjust actions for a Clan leader. I denounce her of her leadership and permanently exile her from the entire gorge, including the lands of the Utopia." He dipped his head respectfully to Windclaw.

"But this is not all," he continued after a long silence. "For attempted murder and treason, our former leader shall face death. I shall let Maplestar determine her own executioner . . ."

Her eyes widened. "Maplestar has to choose the cat who kills her . . . That's horrible."
