Hollowpaw turned his face, unable to see. "Are we going training?" he asked softly.

Brightpaw yawned and stretched out. "I don't know." He looked over at his brother and saw the tom's messy fur. "Your fur is sticking up," he muttered. He leaned over and licked the ginger cat's face, smoothing down the sticking up fur.

The apprentice nodded and set off towards the marsh where Snowpaw had suggested. He wasn't going to argue. He just wanted to get this over with. He set off bounding playfully over and under logs, chasing bugs on the way. It was a fairly good day after all.

Build: Overall just a big cat, he's very solid and muscular, with a broad chest. He's quite a tall fellow with long legs, strong as the trunk of an oak. His hind, left leg is getting some major arthiritis so he's got a slight limp.
Coat/Fur: Pitch black, though it looks very dark brown when the sun hits it right. Very long and thick pelt. Fur is longer on his belly, flank, tail, and neck. Thickens and thins depending on the season.
Eyes: Slightly oval-shaped. Piercing yellow.

His mother suffered from a deep depression afterwards, always mourning the loss of her daughters, and ignoring the son she had left. Both of Cedarshade's parents died of old age, though some rumors went around that Roseheart had poisoned herself. He's pushed the memories of his lost family behind him though. Being a warrior is all that matters anymore... (can be further delved into for dramatic purposes)

Coat/Fur: Overall looks exactly like his father. Thick double coat; very soft and silky. Foggy gray color, tipped w/ silver. The fur on his tail is relatively longer than the fur on the rest of his body. Fur is thicker around his neck and shoulders.
Eyes: Slightly oval-shaped. Deep, vivid green.

History: Grew up quite normally amongst his clanmates, besides the fact that he never knew his father, and no one would ever talk to him about it. It was a touchy subject among the clan, considering that the flirty, mischevious tom named Finn had been a kittypet, and an annoying one at that. They were embarassed, ashamed even, that Hawkfeather had had such close relations with Finn. To them, it was better that Fogpelt and his sister knew as little about Finn as possible. Fogpelt eventually lost interest overtime, coming to the conclusion that if his father didn't care enough to stick around, he wasn't worth the time or the effort. He now lives happily among his clanmates, just doin' his job.

Coat/Fur: Inherited her mother's single layered, water-repellant coat. Calico/tortoiseshell patterns, still has her father's light lavender grey coloration.
Eyes: Slightly oval-shaped. Bright gold w/ flecks of green throughout. Left eye is progressively going blind.

Snowpaw sprinted after him, dodging bushes and other forest debris. She relished the feel of wind blowing through her fur as she maneuvered through the forest with ease; speed was where she excelled. The white apprentice slowed down as she felt the ground grow softer under-paw and checked to make sure Emberpaw was still in sight. 'Almost forgot someone else was with me.'

Hollowpaw nodded excitedly. "Would I ever!" he meowed. He got to his paws, ears twitching.

Brightpaw nudged his brother. "Come on!" He wrapped his long tail around his brother's neck to guide him.

Emberpaw rolled his eyes as the white blur that was supposedly Snowpaw zipped past him and out of sight. He chuckled and continued at his own pace, eager to make the journey so that it was comfortable for him. He surely didn't have the speed that Snowpaw demonstrated but he didn't depend on that. He focused on strength and cunning to win his battles. Come to think of it, he hadn't had fighting practice for a while now and his tail twitched in frustration. But the apprentice shrugged it off and saw the white she-cat just a ahead. At once the orange tom crouched low to the ground and his whiskers twitched in anticipation. He stalked ever closer until he was at an appropriate distance. Then with his claws sheathed, he leapt out of the bushes and pounced on the other apprentice with a lopsided grin on his face.

The she-cat smiled and flicked each apprentice with her tail before beckoning them to follow. Her soft pawsteps barely made a sound as she slunk through the forest like a shadow. And when she finally spoke her voice was soft as a breeze, "Alright you two. What shall it be today. Sparring or hunting?"

Hollowpaw frowned. What would I be worse at? "Um, can we try something that will be not too hard for me?" he asked shyly, his ears back and eyeless features worried.

Brightpaw looked up at Silvertail thoughtfully. Sparring will be difficult for Hollowpaw, he can't see to fight. But hunting will probably be just as hard because he can't see so he might run into things and scare off the prey?
