The tom nodded, and gave Coalpaw an encouraging grin. He exited the den and looked around before deciding to sit in the shade of a tree. Not long after, Smokepaw came padding into the camp covered in mud. He raised his eyebrows, amused. Smokycloud walked up the the apprentice, checking him over. "What happened?" he questioned.

The young she-cat grinned, so happy that her first time out hunting with her new clanmates was so much fun.

Sparrowclaw couldn't hold back his laughter anymore and uttered a spluttering guffaw. "Pff alright. Let's gather up what we've caught and see if Featherfern's had as much luck as we did!" He clambered to his paws and went to pick up his catch.
