Armadillotumble stopped dead, letting out a humourless laugh. He rounded on the larger tom. "You think I like her? She's my daughter!" He snapped, eyes cold. "Ivorypetal was my mate. Mine. I was the unknown father. I think she deserves to know!" He nearly yelled, tears pricking his eyes. "Yes, Ivorypetal was your sister, but I loved her. You have no idea how much I loved her."

Redstar was too distracted to feel embarrassed that she had to be helped with carrying Flameheart. She trudged along slowly with the other until they reached the clearing where cats were normally buried. She dropped her hold on Flameheart and huffed.
"Here is fine," she mumbled, digging her claws into the damp soil with a blank stare. After several swipes at the dirt she hissed when one of her claws was torn backwards.
"Oh fox-dung." She growled, shaking off the dirt and trying to lick the blood off.

i patted the she cat's shoulder. i was presented by a cat named greystripe, who was guided by my close friend, dewfall. i think redstar received the dream, also. he has become more wary, and darkness has started to overwhelm him. i think redstar, thinpelt, armadillotumble, you and i are all a bit wary now. this is something we musn't share to the clan, or i suspect we'd make them fear as well. 'darkness'... that is the darkness that killed flameheart? wasn't he in a deep sleep? 'beware the one who sleeps'! we must share this with redstar and armadillotumble!" i gasped, my mind spinning. had i just uncovered the mystery?
