"Enough," Meadowlark told her. "Nevermind them, we have a clan to feed, and they have their pelts to clean." The crabby old she-cat looked over at Wolfpaw near the medicine den. "Rolled in thorns," she scoffed, turning and heading out into the woods. Before going too far, she stopped.
"Where would you like to hunt, the beach?" She asked Foxpaw over her shoulder.

Redstar nodded to the three of them and headed over to Flameheart's stone cold body. scrunching up her nose, she picked him up by the scruff. Mintpaw had done a good job with her herbs, for he only smelled of rosemary. She looked up, seeing if the others were ready to leave and then began to haul the dead Warrior out towards the woods.

Ravenclaw curled his lip slightly at Fogslip as she passed, but was stopped by the approach of his littermate.
"Starclan, you look like you've been fighting foxes all night. I didn't even hear you come to the den." Ravenclaw relaxed, looking at Tigerclaw with a raised eyebrow and then at the rising sun.
"That's because I haven't," he grumbled, pushing past her to the fresh kill pile and flopping right down with a sigh. He was expecting her hiss before it came.
"You heard Shorestar, no cats out at night!" She followed him over but stayed on her feet. He glared at her, responding in a hushed tone.
"I was trying to enforce the rule, not break it, mouse-brain." He spat, picking up a stale mouse from yesterday's hunt and biting into it as if it was fresh.

Krestlenose carried the other side of Flameheart's body with his jaws. His eyes were soft and full of mourning as he helped the others carry the body out of camp. He moved up a bit, trying to get a better grip on him. Krestlenose stumbled over a hole, almost dropping Flameheart's hindlegs. The tom blushed in embaressment, "Sorry.." he murmured through the fur. Krestlenose cleared his throat and continued walking, focusing on burying their deceased clanmate.

"correct. i have a feeling that other cats are receiving these dreams, too. i think something important is going to happen.... something dreadful. did you receive two cats in your dream? a loved one and a messenger from the early?"

The elderly tom moved his way though the camp as he looked around for tigerclaw. "Tigerclaw" He said softly blinking a few times as he moved softly looking at the warrior. Flicking his tail as he blinked looking at the warrior, "I need to see you in my den" He said softly with a nod as he turned around trotting back to his den.

The small she cat flicked her tail as she moved softy through the grass. Maybe clan could use some freshkill. shaking her head as she dropped into a hunters crouch slowly moving closer to the border between the clans. In one large leap the she cat pounced on the mouse she was hunting. "oh great starclan the young cat said as she looked around realizing she had crossed the border into Emberclan's territory. Shaking her head as she want to back up scanning the bushes around with the mouse in her jaws. She knew she was not supost to be out here, and she was scared that shourstar would see her. But right now all she was scared off was redstar seeing her now..

The warrior flicked his ears as she stretched out his paws moving his large paws as he moved his neck softly. Flicking his tail as he curled his small tail around his paws. Letting out a long yawn as the warrior watched over camp, moving his head behind him licking his back fur before giving his pelt a few good licks.

The queen moved softly to the freshkill pile, bending down as she softly picked up a small vole and carried it back to the nursery. Flicking her ears as she sniffed the air before beginning to eat the vole. It was tense in the camp and she knew something was wrong 'but better to not pry' she thought pulling off the fur of the animal. Flicking her ears as her long tail curled around her body before purring as she nibbled at the food.

Armadillotumble glanced at Coldcry. "Lighten up," he purred. "At least you don't like two she-cats out of the clan," he muttered under his breath. Armadillotumble snuffed around in the undergrowth, beaming when he found some Chervil Root. He picked it and pushed it towards the warrior. "This is what it smells like," Armadillotumble mewed. He silently hoped that Coldcry didn't hear him. He also wanted to get back to camp...so he could Tell Foxpaw..everything. He turned back to the undergrowth and kept sniffing.

His eywbrow raised when heard hear the tom's under breath. Did he just say...that? Out loud? What a mousebrain! Does he just spit this stuff out like its nothing? He snickered to himself before sitting on a rock. He looked down at the small tom. "Hmph. You better watch what you say. Your problem is something that could get you excuted." He meowed darkly. " I aint dumb nor deaf, so know quickly ill let pass this time. But if i hear something of that again..." He meowed, a crude smile forming on his face.

Oakfang

He took one last bite off his meal, praying to starclan of tganks before looking up to see Cherrynose nearby. He gave a jolly smile, padding up to the she cat. " Why good morning ma'dam! How are you? Anything i can do to make you more comfortable?" He asked kindly, like a medicine cat would have. His golden eyes looked at her happily.

Foxpaw

She nodded, listening in wonder as Meadowlark went on. How did she know what i felt? Well maybe its a medicine cat thing, since she once was one! Her deep blue eyes blinked for a moment before reaponding. " Right. The beach is good. I'd like to catch a fish or two. They could feed cats well and taste nice." She purred with a faint smile before turning back to Meadowlark. "And i heard queens and kits can benifit from it, since its healthy." She sqid, before padding down the trail to the beach, the older she cat close.

Armadillotumble glanced back at the tom, his expression dark. It was strange for him to look this mean and scary, and he knew it would make Coldcry stunned - for he was always the happy-go-lucky tom trying to make everyone smile. "You know, Coldcry, At least I try to be nice. I hadn't realized you were so rude, even to the medicine cat. I can't believe I had tried to be friends with you. Now lets hurry up so I can get back to work," He hissed rudely, turning away and lashing his tail. The tom laid his ears to the back of his head. "Anyways, I have to talk to Foxpaw." Armadillotumble pulled out some more Chervil Root and set off towards camp, not caring if Coldcry was following or not.

Coldcry shrugged before hearing the name of his neice's. His expression went from crude to cold. He snapped, jumping infront of the tom. " First of all, she is my neice, so watch it when you speak about her to me." He hissed. " And two, if your going to go confess to her, i am both amused and disgusted. That she cats got nothing in her eyes but the warrior code. No tom will ever win her heart!" He chuckles horsley, before turning, picking up the root. He smiled at the tom with peircing eyes.

Armadillotumble stopped dead, letting out a humourless laugh. He rounded on the larger tom. "You think I like her? She's my daughter!" He snapped, eyes cold. "Ivorypetal was my mate. Mine. I was the unknown father. I think she deserves to know!" He nearly yelled, tears pricking his eyes. "Yes, Ivorypetal was your sister, but I loved her. You have no idea how much I loved her."

"Perhaps you ought to begin patrols." Fogslip snapped in response, shooting a glare at Ravenclaw as she stalked past him. " 'Perhaps you ought to find your apprentice for a bit of training.' " She mocked under her breath in a terrible rendition of the deputy's voice. Who did he think he was, telling her what to do? Oh yeah, he was deputy... Well piss on him. As Fogslip neared the freshkill pile, she saw there was only a small vole left laying there and her stomach growled, reminding her of how hungry she actually was. Huffing, the warrior, turned on her heel and stalked to the apprentice den, ears burning. She didn't want him to win, but Littlepaw did need to get up and the Clan needed breakfast. "Littlepaw, come on. We're going hunting." Fogslip mewed as she entered the den, poking the she-cat's white flank.

Shorestar gratefully sat beside her medicine cat. "I did. My brother, Gullstream, and a strange white tom that smelled of freshwater and oak. I believe his name was Whitestorm?" The ginger leader sighed. "I don't know what to do, Littlefur. First Redstar blames my cats for trespassing and then Flameheart died, and now this? What is becoming of us?" her eyes closed in defeat.

Tumblebrush nodded. "Thank you." he padded quickly out of her way and to the freshkill pile. He grabbed a large squirrel that was caught the day before and took it to the overhang where Poppystem slept so he could share it with her when she woke.

Pipitpaw saw Redstar lifting the ginger tom and stood to assist her, sliding under the tom as they walk so his back supported former deputy. Though the tom was stiff and larger than Pipitpaw, he wasn't very heavy as the other cats were leftwing him as well. Suddenly, as they were exiting camp, Flameheart tipped to one side. Shooting a fast glare at Krestlenose by instinct, Pipitpaw tried adjusting the weight above him as they moved slowly through the forest. He kept his head lowered, hoping no one noticed the cut above his eye until he could come up with a new story.
