Terra had decided to go exploring that day. She had started out from her hut on the slopes on the other side of the mountain, where her mate lived, early in the morning, before the sun had even cracked her fiery eyes to watch over the land that day. She had turned into a bird -a golden eagle- and soared, up, up, greeting the sun on her wings as it rose. For hours she soared thru the chill morning air, or slinked thru the woods, made up of mostly deciduous trees and some evergreens, with not to much undergrowth. There where many streams and clearings she soared over, even a waterfall! She had taken a small break by the waterfall to eat. Thoroughly enjoying herself, she was soaring high in the clouds, upon thermals, which lifted her higher and higher up into the sky where the eyes of the sun shone down on her intensely. She felt absolutely wonderful, in fact. Then, with a scree, she tucked in her wings, shifting to a similar raptor -a peregrine falcon- and dove, reaching speeds up to 200 mph as she did so, speeding thru the air and cutting it like a knife. She felt so
alive! Pulling up about 500 yards above the trees, she skimmed over the top, suddenly shooting over the wooded edge of a cliff. She circled back and slowly drifted down the side, landing on a ledge on the cliffside. Shifting again to a mountain goat, she leaped nimbly from ledge to ledge, tiny hoofhold to tiny hoofhold, making her way carefully down the cliffside, exhilarated with the danger of the precarious place. Suddenly, she heard a pained moan. Concerned, she quickly shifted to a small sparrow and flew down thru the canopy, perching carefully on a small branch. She saw several other animals, and one appeared to be injured-a badly broken leg. She leaped to the ground and shifted back to her natural form-a relatively beautiful anthro ligeress. She wasn't wearing any clothes, since she had been an animal or another all day and had no need for them, and she seemed perfectly comfortable, naked among all these strangers. Carefully walking up, she stood behind the small group, hesitant to speak, as she was rather shy. Swallowing, she swished her tail and shifted her weight, flicking her ear. Terra cleared her throat and finally spoke. "Ummm... Excuse me, but... What's... Is everything okay?"
((Have to go now, methinks.

So, dun post to much, Kay?))
