Brokenridge
He was a fraction too late in finally picking up on the feeling of Sunpaw's presence. His eyes widened and he shot backwards, but by that time he felt Sunpaw's weigh sinking down on top of him. Now, Brokenridge was known for being an escape artist. He had to be, otherwise he wouldn't have still been alive today. So, attempting to pull one of his familiar maneuvers, he dropped to get her weight off of him and attempted quickly pull out of the way before gravity would pull her down. However, Brokenridge wasn't quite a master yet. He got most of the way out, but, as it turned out, Sunpaw landed, more or less, right on top of his head. He cried out in surprise, and it seemed Sunpaw seized that moment as an opportunity to steal the vole he had brought right out of his mouth. His eyes were wide as Sunpaw crawled off of him, her prize in jaw. He found himself a little stunned that he had been beaten by....well, beaten by a she cat. He blinked at her, shaking his head as he stood back to his paws. "Apprentice's luck... he muttered, shaking out his tabby pelt before following after her. "Oh, now you're bringing the rogue back to camp? Genius," he replied sarcastically, but he was still in a good mood. That became evident enough when, instead of following her on the ground, he leaped up into a tree and began branch hopping. "Ever brought kills back this way?" he asked, looking down at her as he balanced beamed along a narrow branch. "It's a lot more fun," he enticed, trying to convince her to come up and try it.
Blackheart
The black she cat grew somewhat impatient when Oakfang did not appear to immediately understand what she wanted of him. However, she did not allow that to show through. She just remained crouched, making sure that she kept her focus on what was most important--being prepared to move whenever Oakfang did. Her senses and mind alert and ready for anything, she was plunged into a complete predatory state the second she saw Oakfang's haunches just barely twitch to launch himself off of the ground. Everything happened quickly after that, but her mind was just as quick. It took her less than a second to realize that, by the was Oakfang was jumping, that he was overshooting to send his body over the birds' most obvious escape---up. Good. She lunged within that second, sending herself flying underneath the large tom and catching the robin closest to her as it began fluttering in a panic to escape the ambush. She caught its body cleanly between her two paws, hooking it with her claws and throwing it into her jaws just in time for her paws to be able to land back on the ground and on the other side of the bush. She bit down swiftly on the bird's neck, killing it as she turned, prepared to snatch the other bird if Oakfang did not.
Snowpaw
She continued to rush after Coldcry even though she did not receive an answer, and, in fact, she became so intent on following him that, by the time Coldcry came to a sudden halt, she didn't even remember that stopping was a possibility. She panicked, trying desperately to throw in her brakes. However, she was caught too off guard and too suddenly to do it in time. To her great horror, she skidded right over the top of Coldcry and flopped off over his head. She cried out some apologies as she scrambled back to her paws and submissively back behind the male. However, she was never scolded. In fact, Coldcry was completely fixated on the scene of Silverkit and Featherkit, who were seeming to take refuge with a strange, furry tom. And then she realized where they were--the mountains. Panic struck her. What would Sparkstar do once he realized that the kits were there without permission? What would he do when he discovered that she and Coldcry had been there. Along with Coldcry, she tried to convince the kits to come back with them, but her soft, shrill voice was drowned out by Coldcry's harsh and rasped one. Then, before she knew it, Coldcry was turning abruptly away, ushering her along with him. She turned back to the kits, wide eyed. "I'll try to fix this," she whispered quickly to them, nodding to the strange male before bolting off after Coldcry.
Cliff
Cliff smiled, about to nod at Featherkit, but then a strange tom came up. His eyes widened. Another cat! And Silverkit was saying it was great?! For a moment, Cliff was excited, not picking up on the kit's sarcasm. However, very quickly, his excitement died at the exchange of words between the newly arrived tom and Featherkit. He frowned, but, no matter how he tried, he was never able to get a word in until the tom, along with his white partner, turned and fled. His expression quirked as he watched them disappear down the mountain. He was silent for a moment before finally looking down to the two kits. "If those are your clan mates, I can't see how you would want to go back to your clan," he said. "I think it would be best if I took you farther up the mountain. Those valley cats might have been able to make it up here, but I know a place where few creatures ever are able to climb up. I can just carry you both,' he offered, hoping to help.
