Whitepaw gazed back at her leader through sparkling eyes before rubbing against another tree trunk. Suddenly she leapt from sight and disappeared into the bushes. After a few moments, she returned, a plump sparrow in her jaws. She silently dug a hole in the soft soil, placed in gently in, then turned to mark another tree, all in about half a minute.

Sparrowchirp wondered whether he should grab something to eat himself. Then he grunted and padded away from the tempting fresh-kill pile, sitting down on a clear patch of ground and beginning to groom himself boredly. As he licked his tail to the tip he glanced around, hoping to spot his apprentice, Whisperpaw.

Brokenridge
He took on the role of mere observer for a short moment, just watching in on and not participating in the conversation between Sunpaw and Redstream. For the most part, he didn't care much about what they said. If Redstream would come, great. If he wouldn't come, great. But, honestly, what mentor wouldn't accompany his apprentice on a hunting expedition? Well, at least, what good one wouldn't? He raised a paw and began grooming it to pass the time. However, he paused when Sunpaw mentioned practicing battle. "Ew." He crinkled his nose, looking up to Sunpaw as he lowered his paw back tot he ground. "I thought were were going to do something fun. Battle training stinks." Even as a kit he had hated it. Fighting. Bleh. Too confrontational, so serious. "Besides, I know how to fight. That sounds more like a "mentor and apprentice go do that alone" kind of thing," he said, his nose still crinkled in distaste before looking up to Redstream. "Come on, tom. She's gotta learn how to fuel herself before she can fight, right?"

He allowed the kit to come over, but he didn't place his paw down yet. He just flicked his gaze over to the remaining cat, beckoning her in with a soft gaze. However, soon, his gaze fell back down upon the one who had come to him first, watching as he showed his gratefulness by purring and rubbing against him. It was just so...bizarre! When was the last time he had heard a purr? "I thought I was alone on this mountain. Are you guys from high up or something? I've never been the the peaks before. Maybe that's why I've never seen you or even your parents. I thought I was alone here!" He was so overwhelmed that he could not help but repeat himself. He really thought he had been alone, but, now this? Wow!

"Good catch on your manners there." He murmured, glancing at Brokenridge slightly, his ears twitching as he decided quickly what to do. "Let's hunt for now. Just a quick trip. We can do some training later, at Sundown perhaps. You can learn how to fight in a later time battle, since most tend to happen for sunup and after sundown, if others wish to be sneaky." Redstream nodded at the idea. It'd be good practice for him, since he stood out so badly in the dark which make night battling and patrolling harder for himself.

Whisperpaw spotted Sparrowchirp instantly, making her way over to him, her long fur every which way, the huge leaf with rips clamped between her teeth. Setting it down, she pressed a paw over it and looked up at Sparrowchirp, blinking. "Does this mean we aren't going out for any training today?" She asked, motioning to their kill from the hunting trip.

Sunpaw

Sunpaw purred at her mentor before nodding. Licking her paws as she trotting gripping the bark of the tree with her claws. Purring slightly as she jumped down softly planting herself on the forest floor. Gazing back up at the two toms as she flashed a large smile "Coming slow pokes" She said as she bounded away. She was not the most respectful of cats, she kinda did things her own way. Giggling as she dropped into a hunters crouch before swishing her thin tail as she moved. Blinking a few times as she scented vole, smiling as she crawled into a small bush before creeping her way closer to the animal. Wiggling her rump as she pounced swiftly killing the animal with a blow to the neck.

Brokenridge
As if he didn't also have some say so in the matter --after all, he was a warrior-- Brokenridge was relieved to hear that no battling was going to take place. Good. He was far better at hunting anyway. In fact, if he wanted to, he could probably be one of the best. But he didn't want to be one of the best. He just wanted to catch himself some food and then eat it. If anyone else wanted to eat, they could either hunt for themself or mooch off of the pointless and stupid hard work some of the more diligent clan members put their backs into. He watched as Sunpaw launched herself from the tree, taunting them once she landed. He blinked, looking to Redstream. "What's her name again?" he asked, figuring that he might as well remember it if he was going on a trip with her.

Sparrowchirp chuckled at Whisperpaw. "We're gonna be doing some battle training, so I hope you didn't get your hopes up," he said with a grin, flicking his fluffy tail at her ears. He glanced down at what she had been carrying. "What's the leaf for?" he asked curiously.

Foxpaw looked back at her mentor,giving her a quick nod. She then lowered herself to touch the ground, feeling mkovement near by. She was pretty sensitive, and also quite, so her alertness was on. She looked up to see a few crows fly off,cawing. She shook her head. Focus. Then, withing moments, the reason of their cawing; a nice sized rabbit, hopped right near her. It couldnt see her, but it should smell her, right? She didnt want to pounce just yet. Foxpaw watched it a bit longer, it becomeing occupied with something it was chewing on. Then, she sprung up into the air, landing on the round fat rabbit. It struggled, almost slipping off, but she was on it. One snap to the neck and it was over. Foxpaw then looked up, giving a thank you to Starclan.

Oakfang looked at Blackheart, tilting his head while the fish lay in his jaws. He shrugged, digging a hole near and placing it inside. He then padded up to her and faintly smiled. "You aren't thirsty? Alriught then, we shall continue on, ma'dam." He purred, before prancing off, his paw steps light for such a big cat. He was careful as he walked but keep his beat. Something seemed off for Blackheaert. She wouldn't go near the stream. I mean, 'oy, water aint the cat's best friend, but it sure to make a fine drink! He didnt understand, but let her have her reasons. The she cat wouldn't explain even if they were friends. Oakfang always loved to be kind to others, but that didn't mean they had ton warm to him. He respected her and the others, and kept his distance still. He padded on, before hearing a crow caw above them.

Coldcry narrowed his eyes. "No, how odd. Why would kits be out here? Alone." He questioned,but an answer wasn't needed. Something was wrong. "We should investigate." He meowed seriously, before looking back at the she cat. "Do you think your capable of coming along or not?" He said, asking not to be rude, though he sounded like it, but so he wouldn't make the already anxious cat be pushed further. He just wanted her to clam down, but as a warrior and to-be, you must always on your paws.

Featherkit

"It's a good thing I followed you or you'd be dead." Featherkit muttered furiously, padding over to stand in front of the large fluffy tom, eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Were not from the mountains, were from the valley. We live in a clan."she answered confused. Did this cat no nothing of the world outside the peaks? The kit was still shivering with the cold but stayed where she was, not trusting this unknown cat enough to get that close to him.

Sparkstar nodded in approval and spotting a mouse to his left, pounced. He landed on it breaking it's spine, killing it swiftly. Careful not to draw blood it buried it in the loamy soil. "Where to next?" he asked yawning widely and licking his paw.

Treepool
Treepool nodded softly as she watched her apprentice stalk through the forest. Licking her muzzle as her eyes pointed right to the rabbit. Watching softly as she waited for her apprentice to see the animal before following slowly. Dropping low to the branch as she watched foxpaw make quick work of the rabbit. Calling out to her apprentice as she nodded softly. "Very good" She said softly, so soft her voice almost to quite. She perked her ears before dipping her head to the she cat, "Continue" She said softly as she followed quickly jumping to another tree, this was her favored place to be, the trees.


Silverkit
Silverkit hissed softly, though he would never harm featherkit it sounded like. Pinning his ears as he yawned, flicking his tail softly. "Mister we really must be going now" he said softly blinking a few times before sighing softly. Flicking his ears before slowly crawling out of the tom's fur before sighing. Sniffing the air as he attempted to look for the way home, "Although i dont know how to get home..do you?" He asked looking to featherkit.

Foxpaw looked up at the she cat. She wanted to climb and learn to be up in the trees,not be subjected to be like a normal apprentice. She wanted a true, unique talent. "Treepool. I want to learn to hunt from the heights. May I learn?" She meowed in question, though she didn't wait for an answer, she wanted to that. She slithered up the tree like an adder before sitting beside the she cat,her tail flicking expectingly.
