The tom finally dismissednthe senior warriors and turned his head to Fallenpaw, whom he had heard calling his name. "Yes, Fallenpaw?" he asked.

Sunpaw limped over to Nightleaf. She showed her her paw, thorn barely seen. "Is it going to be bad?" she asked, worried.

Nightleaf looked closely. "Of course not! It's small, it definitely shouldn't leave much of a wound at all." She carefully gripped the thorn in her jaws and pulled it out, dropping it afterwards. "Sorry if that hurt, there's not really another way to get a thorn out, is there?"

RaccoonStar hissed and got out of his den. He looked around his clan, his stomach growled but he ignored it.

Sunpaw winced, then smiled weakly. "No, not really," she admitted. She tested putting her weight on it. It didn't hurt. She smiled again. "Thanks, Nightleaf," she said before bounding off to finish waving the bramble into the wall.

"I'll help any time--that's my job, after all!" She decided to watch the cats work on building up defenses. To her, it was rather fun to watch. Though she knew at any time it was fine for her to help, Nightleaf had her own duties to attend to. She had to be available at almost all times, that was also something she knew.
