Advanced Warriors (Need more cats!)

"Mistpaw," Sunpaw cried, "wait!" She spread her wings as if to fly after her.

Mistypaw was already out of the clan territory. She felt a tear in her eye, but forced it go back in. She was not going to cry over a clan that thinks they know better than her.

(Going to be gone mostly all day)

Sunpaw launched into the sky. "Mistpaw!" she cried again. "Wait!"

Nightleaf watched this all happen, horrified. Clearly StarClan meant something different? They wouldn't just tell a cat with a brilliant future to leave...or would they?

"Sunpaw!" Clearstar called, but the two apprentices were too far out to hear. She hung her head, digging her claws into the rock beneath her. She gathered herself and turned from the two retreating apprentices.
"They will return, StarClan willing." She whispered, before diving into the air, calling the Clan together.
"SkyClan! StarClan has given us a warning! We must prepare the Clan!"
"But where is Mistypaw and Sunpaw going?" A kit asked.
"StarClan has sent them on a mission." She said coolly. "They will be back before long." She settled down on the cliff face. "We must prepare for disaster, that is what I believe they are trying to tell us. Reinforce the brambles around the nursery! Hide the path! Build up the storm-breakers!" She ordered, flying down to the bottom of the ravine, where a white river raged. She picked out pieces of driftwood from the frothing water, putting it up on the pre-made walls of wood, meant to protect the Clan from gales and hurricanes.

Sunpaw flew as fast as she could go, but still couldn't catch up to Mistpaw. She slowed, turned around, and headed back to camp, head hung low. She landed next to Clearstar by the raging river. "I couldn't catch up to her," she said sadly. Her tail dragged along the ground as she walked back to camp, ears flat in defeat.

"Remember what StarClan said. They meant for her to leave. And for you to stay. I'm sorry Sunpaw." She nuzzles the apprentices head.
"Come now, we must help prepare the clan. You must have a large part to play in protecting us."

Nightleaf still had not gotten the chance to tell Clearstar of the dream she had. But it seemed she did not have to, as they already seemed to know what was to happen, when they didn't at all. They only knew great darkness was coming, and that was all she knew, too...

"Yes, Clearstar," Sunpaw said miserably. She followed Clearstar back to camp, but she couldn't help wondering why Mistpaw had to leave. Yes, she knew StarClan must have it's reasons, but still.

Clearstar had the clan work hard, reinforcing the walls and the nursery especially. Her tail betrayed the storm roiling in her mind, a storm of darkness overcoming her thoughts.
