"Sure!" Dapplekit squealed and rolled on her siblings. Hailkit pounced on a ball of moss and flung it across the nursery.

Stretching out his paws, the young warrior pulled himself from his nest, fur pressed flat against one side. "Morning, Gingerclaw," he mewed, giving his pelt a shake. "I trust you slept well?"

As Crow moved, she half woke, before curling back into herself. "Way too early," she mewed, tucking her nose under her tail. "Way too early."

Crouching in her nest, she tenatively poked a paw into Streakpaw's side. "Morning," she purred, tail swishing. "We should go see if we can go hunting." If someone even took a glance at her, they would see she was in a playful mood.

Emberstar sat in her den, placing fresh feathers and other soft bedding in her nest. She had just been brought moss by the apprentices. She curled up in her nest and began washing.

Streakpaw looked up at Russetpaw and pressed his muzzle into hers. It had been moons from the day they had been invited into clan life, and they were just one moon away from becoming a warrior. He studied his scars closely, lapping at some deep swelling wounds. "Clan life is fun" He murmured. "I am glad we did this."

Wolfwhisker sat in her nest and rolled on her side, letting the faint dawn light that trickled through the roots of the den warm her. It had been several moons since she confessed her love to Sedgewhisker, the Timberclan medicine cat, but the scene always played in her mind. She stood up and lapped the scraps of moss from her fur. "I slept fine, thanks for asking." She murmured through licks.

"Yes," she laughed. "I'm happy you prefer the wild. Though wait until the bad weather hits." She nuzzled him quickly. "Now shall we go find Pinepath an Emberstar to take us on patrol?"

Streakpaw nodded and purred. "Sure. I'll go find Timberpath." He got up, shaking moss scraps from his fur and padded towards the Warriors den.

Wolfwhisker nodded and purred. "Sure, I could use one, but you can go first, I have to talk with someone." She murmured and headed into the clearing, towards the large hollow tree that made the medicine den.

Sedgewhisker stared at the clearing, waiting as Wolfwhisker seemed nearby. The tom carried a vole from one of the shelves in the wall and hung his head low as he sniffed at Pinepath's leg. "Just rest and I'll get you some herbs," he decided.

Wolfwhisker peered into Sedgewhisker's den and saw nobody inside. She guessed they must be in the underground chambers. "He-lloo~?" She mewed softly as she entered before seeing Timberpath sprawled on a nest. "W-what happened?"

Sedgewhisker chuckled. "Just a joint pain," he assured her, finishing putting the poultice on Pinepath as the tom winced. "What's up?" he asked, rubbing his paws together in the bit of water supply he had.

Wolfwhisker's pelt flashed with heat and then she looked at Timberpath's leg. "The apprentice's wanted to go hunting, and I was trying to find Timberpath, but I scented him with you." She mewed, scenting that the soil was dry and had little water. "Want me to get some damp moss?"
