Zora smiled back and said " Where's Midnight?" suddenly panicking, she had become rather fond of the little dragon.

Shadow mare was perched ontop of midnight's hidden area, simpily keeping gaurd at the moment.

Rune flew off when the threat had gone and went to find Calico he quickly said " Goodbye." to the dragons and he flew off towards the village.

Meanwhile Calico was waiting patiently for her Chief to answer her question.

"Shadow mare's been handling the storm cutter recently. I can tell because she got in a fight with them a bit back. Injured her wing and all. But it seems with this new hatchling the storm cutters found, alpha shadow mare's been keeping him in check and keeping him close by with the hatchling about. But, rouge dragons other then him are getting more difficult. Ones been attacking and killing other dragons and alot of the villagers are saying its odin's dragon Death coming to collect the over due dragons. But i'm not to sure." Drako said.

Calico listened carefully before answering " Couldn't we track down Death and kill it before it kills us and our dragons?"

"Thats another thing. With its mixed blood, its hard to track. My fathers father tried killing it once and that didn't work to well either." He said.

Calico didn't Know what to say , she thought about it long and hard but couldn't come up with anything so she said " Lets hope the gods have mercy on us and show us the answer before Death comes knocking on our door."

Drako nodded. "Yeah. Gods have mercy." He said, ruffling his own hair a bit.

calico nodded her thanks she combed a hand through he hair clearly quite stressed about the situation and she set of to work, researching anything to do with this dragon and anything else that might give her a clue.
