Shadow mare carefully got spit fire to lay it on the ground before lightly blowing a warm flame on it to help speed hatch it.

Niger frown, he didn't like being ignored, "Spitfire I don't imagine you as the dad type."

Zora while flying she came across the dragon and the egg again, she landed on a rooftop to watch it hatch, she wanted to know what type of dragon it was.

'Well then!' Spitfire said offended. 'I took care of a young one once' He growled

Shadow mare did this once more before stepping back to watch it hatch. "Be ready, when it hatches, it'll be hungry, so you as the parent need to give it their first taste of food by regurgitating it." She told spit fire.
