Aria wandered through the forest. Her belly was much bigger. Her pups might be due soon, but she wasn't sure. Then she noticed someone lying in a cave nearby, not moving.
"Hello? Are you ok?" she walked into the cave and gasped.
"Axion..."

[<Terminal March>]

Axion was unmoving in the cave, the sickness had taken his life.

Tears dripped from Aria's face and she licked her son's fur. She wondered how he had died. She would miss him. She nuzzled Axion sadly.

"Mum?" Axion's spirit asked, from within her mind.

"Axion?" Aria looked at her son and then in the cave.
"Axion is that you?"

"I'm in your head mum." Axion answered.

Aria smiled sadly.
"I see you got that from your father." she said with a chuckle.
"Are you ok? What happened?"

"Yeah." Axion chuckled. "anyway, remember when I said I was sick?" he asked. "well that's what killed me."

"I wish I could've done something," Aria said softly. She furrowed her brow, feeling slightly guilty.

Flayer washed the bloody remains of her forhead in a stream, wincing at the cold liquid stung the wound.

"It's ok mum, I'll ask Dad for some help." Axion said.
