"When can I have a mentor, Sootstar?" She asked, her eyes pleading for the answer. "I want to start training soon so I can be like the other cats and not be so.. me." She spoke such sad words without realising it, as it seemed so normal for her, yet so 'not' normal to talk to someone other than herself.
