Honeybriar woke to the morning light showering through the Warrior's den from the entrance. She was curled up next to her brother, Mapleheart, who was still asleep. She purred in amusement, usually he was the first to wake up. She yawned and got up, stretching her limbs and padding out of the den. Honeybriar headed toward the apprentices den, where a rather loud Ryeclaw was yelling for his apprentice. She cast a nervous glance at Ryeclaw as she called for her own apprentice. "Minnowpaw? Come on, wake up!" She called into the den.

The sound of movement next to him made Mapleheart begin to stir from his slumber. He lifted his head groggily as he saw his sister leaving the den. Morning already ? He thought disdainfully. He shook his head, figuring he should get up as well. He left the den with the other warriors that were starting their day as well. He went over to the fresh kill pile and picked up a squirrel before finding a patch of sunlight to eat it in before he did his daily duties. He was grateful for the small warmth from the sun on his body. It wasn't much, but managed to get rid of his chills that came with being a hairless cat in a cold environment.

She lifted her head from the green moss and passed outside of the den yawning. "I'm up," Minnowpaw mewed and padded over to her mentor. Noticing she had scraps of moss in her fer she sat down to clean her pelt before standing back up.

He almost didn't hear the young cat through his hard thoughts, glancing down him. "We have a sunhigh hunting patrol later on and the first one returns. I'd tell you to change bedding but it's still fresh, so any training done today will be battle." Setting his schedule for the day, battle practice was good.

"Funny..." He huffs, shaking his head. Anything good was a scrawny squirrel, but that was better than nothing. "Riverblossom just ate a bellyful of prey, so I'd have to look." Eyes wandering over to the pile, it was low as usual in the mornings, hopefully the first patrol would head out soon.

Patchpaw meows"okay i guess i'll go find something to do," he meows to his mentor.Looking around camp he finds a flat rock with sun shining on it and padded over to it.

"Oh if its that low then i guess we can just wait until after we do our border patrol, i think its supposed to head out soon," she meows before sitting down.Sighing that it would be a while before there was fresh-kill she starts grooming herself.

He opens his mouth to object any slacking, but decides to let it slide for now. There wasn't much harm in letting his apprentice relax for the morning as there was no shame in letting himself off the hook until then. He still hoped the other patrol left soon, he was starving.

Stormpaw ♂||Apprentice||10 moons||→Spottedpaw

"At least your mentor is around to take you out, mine hasn't shown all day." He mews a bit upset about it, after all Shadedwillow was supposed to be in charge of his training hours and without her around it meant he wouldn't get any training done. Meanwhile, Thunderhaze had been keeping half an eye on them the whole time. "Who knows what she's up to."

Frostpaw averted her eyes from the other two apprentices near the very small prey pile as she padded back into the forest. Even though the cold was biting at her pelt, she was determined to get more prey, especially since it was leaf-bare. Biting her tongue, the wind picked up again, completely confusing her senses.
