Dumped, left, got lost, ran away, rejected, abused, born stray. Whatever has happened to you, you aren't going back home. No matter your reason for being alone, you find yourself without a family. It doesn't mater how skilled you think you are, you can't survive alone. There are dogs and other predators, not to mention more humans who may want to bring you in, but then throw you out once more. You can't stay out in the world alone, it's just not an option. You walk the streets of where you were left, finally finding a forest before you.

You start to recall stories of a paradise where there are no humans, no dogs, and no animal control. This place seemed to be perfect to you, but who knew if it was actually real or not. There was only one way to find out and that was to continue into the forest until you find this so called 'paradise.' It seems as though you have been walking for days now, and just when you feel like giving up and laying down you smell the presence of another cat nearby. You begin to worry, knowing that you are too weak to actually defend yourself. Soon it becomes too late to run and two felines come into view, coming from two different directions. You lower your head showing your submission and they approach you without a trace of hostility.

The first tom speaks up to say " You seem tired young lass, why don't you follow us. " You have no choice but to follow them, you wouldn't survive without them anyways. After a quick journey through the woods you come to a cave, one that no human would ever think of entering due to the dark atmosphere that surrounds it. The two cats motion for you to follow through and you do as told, though you are a bit hesitant. However, it turns out all of your worry was for nothing. On the other side of that cave is the paradise you heard about in the stories.

There was one thing that the stories left out though. The so called paradise mays seem calm and peaceful, but there is a battle brewing between the two pack that reside here. The tom that spoke to you earlier turns back to you and says " Welcome to Rolling Cove, home to KoaClan and the MokuClan. " The other feline interrupts by adding " Choose your path, but choose wisely. "

KoaClan lives in an area that looks like this, and they sleep in moss filled caves like this, which you can easily fall asleep in. The leader stands on this rock formation when they have important information for the clan to hear, and sleeps in a hollowed tree trunk. Near the clan is a waterfall where most of the clan goes to cool off and mess around when there isn't much to do, even to fish. The warriors take their apprentices to the beach to teach them battling skills, and into the forest to teach then hunting skills. KoaClan is very fierce. These warriors are very sure of themselves and are rather proud. They are believed to be the 'meanest' of the two packs, not to mention the strongest. They are more gifted in fighting skills than MokuClan. They do not fear water at all and are strong swimmers, able to move silently and scentless through the water. Their prey consists of mostly fish, but they do eat water voles, shrews, and mice.

MokuClan lives in an area that looks like this and they in rest dens hidden by rocks, filled with grass and comfortable nests. The entrance to the leaders den is a tree trunk, but just inside the trunk is a nest. The leader stands on a formation much like KoaClans. It looks like this and the leader goes up their to speak to the clan. Near the clan is a calm place where the cats comes to chill and mess around in free time. In that place are large flat stones in which the cats use to sun bathe on and even hide around for games. The MokuClan is very calm. In peace they are respectful of the other clan. In battle they are fierce, courageous, and loyal. They are believed to be the wisest out of the two packs, not to mention the quickest. They are gifted in agility and stealth, and have excellent stalking techniques, able to creep across the forest floor unseen and unheard. Their prey consists of mice, voles, squirrels, and birds such as starlings, magpies, wood pigeons, and thrushes.

The moonwell is where the medicine cats travel every half-moon to share tongues with StarClan at moonhigh. The moss garden is where the cats come for gatherings every full moon. Predators are foxes, badgers, and hawks. If any cat decides to swim in the ocean then they must avoid barracudas and sharks, as well as any other large fish. Splitting the clans in two is a long river that seemingly runs smack in the middle of the island. This river is called crystal river because it is so clear that you can see anything and everything that is in it.

three;; you may have as many cats as you can handle, just keep genders even. no perfect characters either. i know warriors are powerful but they all have their flaws. also no god-modding please.

four;; i really want you to be active. this roleplay took a while for me to make, and i don't want it to die. since i only require three lines per character, i would love it if you posted at least every two days.

The leader den was silent overall, nothing heard but the small breath of the quiet leader. Tinystar was the only cat in the den, seeing as she had no mate, and she was not going to wake up anytime soon. Her belly slowly moved up and down as she inhaled and exhaled. Her breathing was a bit faster than normal, but it was only because she was dreaming. She was in a field, alone. They sky held the bright sun in place with no clouds to cover it's light. Surrounding her were thousands of blades of grass, as well as an abundance of flowers here and there. She started off with a saunter as she took in the surrounding field, but her paws soon sped up into a race, though she was racing no cat. The wind pushed her fur back, her ears flopping as well. It was almost like she was flying. She was airborne for the majority of the time, her paws only coming down to meet the ground for a millisecond before once again returning to the air. However, no dream can remain happy forever. The sky suddenly grew dark, the sun blacking out and the ground becoming bare and hard. Tinystar stopped as quick as she could, her surroundings changing to a dark forest with crooked trees hovering over her small body. Her breath became heavy and short, fear taking over until--

She woke up with a jolt, her whole body jerking as she sat up. She looked around to find that she was in the leaders den, and with that she was relieved. She let out a small breath and stood there for a moment, trying to get her thoughts together. She then stood up after a while and stepped out of her nest, trying to make her way out to the camp. As soon as she emerged from the den she looked away, the sun being too bright for her. She let her eyes adjust and then once again looked out into camp, though this time slower. Her blue eyes darted from corner to corner, making sure the camp was quiet and safe.

The gray furred warrior sat up in the warriors den, his paws planted firmly on his nest. He had just woken up from a dreamless sleep, so he had yet to completely awaken. His striking green eyes scanned the den to see how many warriors had already gotten up, and so far he saw that every warrior was still sleeping. He nodded gently to himself as he was agreeing to his own thoughts, and he eventually stood up, stretching his haunches as he did so. He then let out a huge yawn, his pearly fangs being visible to even the furthest warrior in the den. He then flicked his tail and padded out of the warriors den, careful not to wake a soul.

He emerged from the quiet den to find that the camp was quiet and serene, though the leader was out. He gave her a nod of greeting as soon as they crossed paths, but he had yet to actually say anything to her. He wasn't much of a morning cat, but he wouldn't dare be snappy to any fellow clanmate. He may be sarcastic and such, but he would never be the deemed the sour cat of the clan. That title was reserved for the elders.

Birdwing stretched in her nest, waking up from a dream that she couldn't remember. She felt oddly calm and wondered what she could have dreamed about. The she-cat looked around the medicine den, her eyes beginning to adjust to the faint light. She didn't spot Ruddlepaw, and was curious as to where he had gone. Birdwing stood up and shook some clinging moss from her fur. She began to walk towards the exit, then turned around and went to the herb stock. She'd sort everything and find out what they were low on before she went to eat.

Swanpaw, who was always hyper, had already woken up and was trying to sit still in her nest. The other apprentices had yet to wake up, and she was scared that moving may disturb them. She tried to busy herself by grooming her fur, but soon lost interest. A few moments later she decided to risk waking everyone up, and began hopping over bodies and tails. Her nest was at the back of the den, so she had to walk over everyone. Her paws hit the ground not even an inch away from a cat's tail, ruffling their fur a bit. The cat rolled over but didn't awake. Swanpaw made one last bound and landed at the den entrance. She help back a triumphant shout, and quietly left.

Oakheart's paws landed on the crisp fall leaves covering the ground. He was hunting in the woods, but going strangely fast and not bothering to remain quiet. Ahead he spotted a mouse, and began to bound towards it. Just before he pinned it down, a fox came out of the bushes. It leaped at him, but a cat jumped on it's back. The fox lost interest in him and went after it's attacker. The fox ripped the cat off it's back and killed it. Oakheart's mother's eyes stared at him unblinking from where she lay on the ground.

Oakheart woke with a start, his chest rising and falling quickly. He slowly calmed down from his dream, but he was still a bit shaky. Since his mother had died about four moons before, he had been plagued with the same nightmare every night. Each time it seemed to get worse, though, and each time it left him even more frightened. He was just barely a warrior, after all, he still got scared rather easily. Even if he knew it was only a dream. He breathed in a deep breath, breathed out, then left the den to see who had already woken.

Good morning sunshine, was the first set of words thought, sarcastically of course, by Applefur as she climbed out of the area she had reserved for herself to sleep in the caves they resided in. She did her best to shake her sleepiness off, stretching as much as she could in an effort to wake herself up, but to no avail. The she cat pondered over going back to sleep and hopefully getting out of the morning patrols, but decided against it. She was already awake, wasn't she? Applefur padded steadily out of the cave, doing her best to not step on the tails or ears of the still sleeping cats. Once she stepped outside of the den, the light of the sun enveloped her, and she squinted in hope that it would help clear her vision. After several moments, the she cat's eyes adjusted, and she felt ready to take on the day, or at least more so than she had before. Few cats were awake and outside of their dens, which was understandable.

Applefur thought over the two options she had now that she was awake: either wait for Crimsonfox to wake up and assign patrols, or just go out on her own. After several moments of thinking over the two, she decided on the latter, seeing as socializing wasn't really on Applefur's agenda for the day. She smiled a bit at the cats that were awake already, few smiled back, which was understandable because of Applefur's troublemaker reputation in the clan, and stepped out of the area their clan resided in. Immediately, Applefur's thoughts wandered, and she began to wonder whether going to the waterfall and hunting on the way back would be a bad thing. But it would, seeing as she was only supposed to be out for a little bit, seeing as disappearing would leave her apprentice a bit annoyed.

Applefur sniffed the air, looking around for prey. Another reason for her being the odd one out: Applefur was better at hunting than fighting, which was strange for a cat with Koaclan blood. She was still good at fighting, just not great, having barely passed her battling exam as an apprentice. Finally, Applefur spotted something twitching in the edge of her vision, and slowly turned her head to face it. There it was, a mouse, covered by a small leaf. Slowly, the she cat crouched, and began to inch towards it before she was in striking distance. Then, she pounced, and landed on the mouse, ending it's life. Applefur thanked Starclan for the prey, before picking it up, and straightening up a bit in pride.

Time to head back home.

The tom emerged from his peaceful sleep when the slightest bit of sunlight made it's way into his den. Adderstar wasted no time in getting up and stepping out of the tree trunk that he spent his nights in. Only a few cats had woken up so far, and he wasted no time in making eye contact with the few and nodding to them. Truth be told, Adderstar actually liked waking up this early, which was rarely heard of among both clans. Despite their differences, no average clan cat liked to wake up before sun high. Nice job, Adderstar thought to himself, you've got your next gathering speech ready. Now that would be a sight, he thought as he imagined the scene in his head. Gatherings were some of the most serious things that went on in his life, and here the tom was, thinking about talking to them about how, even though they were separate, had a mutual hatred for mornings.

Gatherings had constantly been on his mind throughout the week, even if the next one wasn't exactly staring the tom in the face. You could say that Adderstar was a worrywart, but he did his best never to let his insecurities show. It was a sign of weakness, and it didn't really matter anyway. All leaders felt nervous about something, whether it was making it through the winter, or something as simple as Adderstar's problem. He wasn't afraid of speaking in front of groups in general, it was more the idea that anything he said could be taken badly by the opposing clan, and he could cause tensions to rise and fights to break out.

Okay, so my Applefur post won't always be that long x3 My post for Adderstar is my normal post length, I just had a lot of muse for the she cat.

Duskheart awoke to weak sunlight streaming through the entrance of the den. She got up, determined not to trod on any other cats' tails. It was just about after dawn, maybe an extra few moments, it seemed. She caught a flash of Adderstar's fur put of the corner of her eye. Turning, she glanced over at him and dipped her head quietly. Passing the warriors' den, she padded to the apprentices' den to see if Shrewpaw was up and ready yet. She had a whole lesson plan today. Climbing trees. Hopefully he won't fall, Duskheart occasionally worried about training, as things could happen. She herself had fallen from a tree during her apprenticeship. Luckily, it was a small one, and she was quickly fixed up. Ducking her head inside a little, she saw that the feisty little Swanpaw had already awoken. Otherwise, the apprentices' den was still. Duskheart crawled back out and began to groom herself briskly.
