He sighed and shrugged. "Alright, but we have to get back to our caves before sundown." He muttered. Even thought he liked the darkness, he didn't want to meet any unwanted visitors in the middle of the night. Walking towards the edge, he waded into the water.


~Redthorn~

She agreed with Shadow and gestured for Midnight Mist to follow her. Redthorn leaped into the water with a loud splash and resurfaced with her orange tail slapping the waters surface. "C'mon!" She called, diving into the water and swimming towards the cavern she had discovered earlier.

Bursting with speed, she reached the cavern within seconds. "What do you guys think?" She asked excitedly, gesturing at the cavern. A hazy glow came from inside, making her want to explore it even more.


~Shadow~

He followed Redthorn rather slowly. How boring... He thought silently as he reached the cavern. But just as he stopped, a shiver ran up his fin. Besides the welcoming glow of the cavern, there was something eerie about this place. He scanned his surroundings in suspicion. Something just wasn't right, but he wasn't going to spoil it for the girls. Instead, he decided to keep quiet and just follow them.

Sharp Melody-from within her cave, deep within her cave, she began singing a nice little melody, that echoed through the deep part of the cave.but could not be heard untill somehwat deep into the cave.

Midnight Mist~''so.which direction first.there is a few tunnels up ahead''

~Redthorn~

She shrugged. "I haven't had time to explore it yet. I suppose we'll just have to take our chances." She said rather cheerfully. With a swish of her tail, she drifted into the cavern.


~Shadow~

"Dam* it!" He cursed, annoyed by the fact that Redthorn was going to take her chances. He wasn't really worried about himself, since he could easily deal with unwanted visitors, but he wasn't so sure with the others. Giving his surroundings one last glance, he gestured for Midnight mist to go in before he darted into the cavern himself.

Midnight mist~she drifted into the cavern happily .''so.left or right?''

"Right." She agreed, peering into the tunnel before slowly pushing herself through the opening.


~Shadow~

He sighed and stayed behind Midnight Mist, waiting for her to follow Redthorn.

She stopped abruptly, almost crashing into Midnight Mist. "Now that you mentioned it...yes..." She murmured quietly, straining to hear the eerie yet beautiful sound echo across the cavern walls.


~Shadow~

He immediately stilled as he too heard the sound. He frowned with suspicion. What is a siren doing here?! He thought in confusion. "U-um...you guys go on ahead, I think I'll just check out whats going on."
He suggested.

Midnight Mist~"'ok....'''she said and continued swimming forward.

Sharp Melody~she continued singing her melody from deep within the cavern, while putting flowers, and braiding sea glass into her hair.
