Rabbitstar stopped asking, as she knew that she would have to listen to wiser cats to become a good leader. She tried sitting, but got very fidgety as her curiosity got the better of her. "Well, could you at least tell me what it is? Pretty please?"

"I haven't been informed." Owlwhisker replied. "I'll have to ask Rabbitstar when I get back to camp." Owlwhisker wanted an apprentice. He had one apprentice, and that was it. But there where more warriors Rabbitstar could choose for it. It would be Owlwhiskers turn soon. The tom suddenly stopped. Badger set. "Badger set."

Hawkbreeze flicked a glance at her apprentice, quickly thinking of a name for this new herb. "It's name is the Bloody Star- it is related to the Blazing Star, an herb our ancestors used. Don't touch it, we're not sure if it's edible or not."

"Wow, that's a scary name" she shuddered. "But it suits it. Weird little herb, isn't it? I think some bad things are happening. The eagle and the bloody star. Do you think it's an omen?" Rabbitstar looked around. "I hope it isn't. Bad things are just the worse. I hope Owlwhisker and Tigerfang get back ok." She cheered up a bit. "The apprentices will be getting mentors once their back! Isn't that exciting?"

Ashpaw
Ashpaw had long since learned to school her features. She was always surprised at Rabbitstar's ability to jump from topic to topic with surprising speed. Still, she was glad she didn't have to talk right then, or she might have said something sharp. Instead she blandly observed the flower, taking in its details and memorizing it, so that she would recognize it again.

Tigerfang
Tigerfang nodded, silently working uphill to a large, loose-looking boulder. Once he was ready he looked down at Owlwhisker, waiting for him to lure it out so he could smash it.

Owlwhisker went in front of the badger set and lashed his tail. "Hey, badger-brain!" He yelled into the badger set. "Wake up!" The badger opened its eyes and stood up slowly, baring it's long, sharp teeth at Owlwhisker. The tom backed up and flattened his ears, then lashed his tail. "Come on, badger brain!" He slashed the badger's muzzle and ran out of the set. The badger lumbered after him, enraged.

Tigerfang
As soon as Tigerfang saw the black-and-white head of the badger, he heaved the stone down the hill racing after it to make sure it stayed on course. He slowed to a stop about a tail-length above the set, watching the boulder crash toward the badger.

Turning away from the busy medcats, Rabbitstar looked around for the soon-to-be apprentices. "Bladekit! Hammerkit!" She shouted. "Oof, where are they? They need to be prepared for the ceremony!" Rabbitstar recalled hers in nostalgia. Her mother took hours doing her fur! She felt a bit sorry for the two no longer having their parents to care for them, but slightly envious that they didn't have to endure the constant grooming, which would probably take forever with their long fur.

Hawkbreeze picked up the Bloody Star, padding back to her den with it carefully clamped in her jaws. She set it down, beginning to test if it was poison or not.

Ashpaw watched the process carefully, knowing that one day she might have to do it and Hawkbreeze might not be there to show her how. ((Wb sorry))
