Rabbitstar firstly addressed her deputy's concerns. "Yes, Owlwhisker. Please alert other cats of Hawkbreeze's illness, and perhaps assist Ashpaw with finding a place for quarantine. Once everyone is settled down, make a small patrol, please." She meowed, then turned to her apprentice. "Yes, Bladepaw?"

Owlwhisker nodded and turned away, going to tell the other cats of the sickness that could potentially spread. "Everything is under control, and Hawkbreeze should be fine in a day or two. But for now, if any of you feel sick, please go to Ashpaw." He said, then he padded over to Ashpaw. "I'm going to help you search, if you want." He said.

"Hawkbreeze shouldn't move for now. She passed out earlier just while walking. I'm going to keep the quarantine in here." she told Owlwhisker. "Please just tell healthy cats to keep a fox-length away from the mouth of the den. I'd appreciate it if someone could leave prey here for us and any other sick cats every day, and wet moss so we can drink." She was trying to think of everything they could need, since she didn't plan on coming out of the quarantine until the sickness was gone- something infectious could be on her fur or paw and make more cats sick.

"Rabbitstar," Bladepaw meowed. "I feel... left out... Hammerpaw keeps showing me up." Her ears flicked backwards. "I feel... like I'm not as important as Hammerpaw because he's better than me."

Rabbitstar frowned a bit at Bladepaw's words, unhappy her apprentice felt this way. "Now listen here, Bladepaw. You're a good cat with a lot of promise. I'm sure if you work hard, you'll easily match or surpass your brother's skills. In the meantime, I promise you won't be left out, ever! When Hammerpaw becomes a warrior, you will be right beside him doing the same, I assure you!" She beamed down at Bladepaw. "Maybe you should talk to him and tell him how you feel. You two are inseparable! I'm sure he'll understand."

((Ok, so SUPER sorry I haven't been active. I've been having a really tough time, so I couldn't really do much here. School's out now, and my big vacation is over, so I should have some more time here.
On another note, the poll is over! We have a tie between yes, no, and later, but because the yes and later are both positive, I will later introduce a rogue/loner. He/she will arrive later after some we finish up some things we are doing right now, so my guess would be around 20 pages later, give or take.))

Bladepaw nodded, reassured by her mentor's words. She turned to call out Hammerpaw's name only to see him sitting close to his mentor and deep in conversation with the tabby warrior. Her face fell. "Thanks for the advice Rabbitstar," she meowed, crestfallen.
