(( Hi guys! Sorry for not posting much. I'll get more active soon, but I'm going camping this week, so I can't post! I just thought I'd let you guys know :> ))

Hammerpaw was surprised to hear that. "That's awful!" he meowed. He laid his tail on her shoulder. "If you need anything or any help let ne know," he offered. "I can change the moss, bring you and Hawkbreeze freshkill." His ears twitched. "Whats Hawkbreexe's favourite?" he asked. "I'll go catch her something now."

Ashpaw shrugged. "I don't know what her favorite is, but anything you catch will do fine." Ashpaw smiled brightly at Hammerpaw. "She needs to be strong to fight off the sickness, but maybe when she's a little better-" stops blacking out all the time, is what Ashpaw said in her head- "I could ask her if you still want to know."

Hammerpaw nodded. "Of course!" He purred. "Is there anything else?" he asked, "Fresh moss, some water?"

"Water would be great, but for now I think we're set for moss." Ashpaw replied. "Thank you very much. I hope this isn't getting in the way of your training..." she added, suddenly remembering that cats didn't just sit around camp all day. Especially not her brother.

Hammerpaw shook his head. "Its okay, my mentor Tigerfang will understand," he purred. making cats like me is easier than I thought. "I'll be back soon!" he promised. He bounded over to Bladepaw. "Hey sis, lets go hunting," he called.

Ashpaw smiled. Well, if her brother did get angry she could make him understand, she thought. She quickly ate the prey Hammerpaw had brought her, out of Hawkbreeze's sight. She relied on the sickness to hide her disobedience from Hawkbreeze. How would she keep her strength to heal Hawkbreeze if she didn't eat, anyway? She licked her lips, trying to clean the scent from her muzzle before returning to check on her mentor.

Hawkbreeze lifted her head. "I'm not dead yet, apprentice.'' She spat, settling back down. She'd licked up the leaves, and the bitter taste lingered in her mouth. "Could you get me some water?"

Hammerpaw bounded out into the forest. He'd not ventured far when he cauht prey-scent. "Catch as much as you can," he whispered to Bladepaw before stalking off.

Bladepaw nodded and stalked off. Several hours passed and all she's caught was a measly vole. Defeated, she trotted back to camp. To her dismay she returned to find Hammerpaw struggling into camp with two huge squirrels, a mouse and a ball of moss soaked in water. He had both squirrels strew over his shoulders and the mouse and moss ball in his jaws. He shrugged the squirrels off on the fresh kill pile and bounded over to the medicine cat den. "Here you go Ashpaw!" he called as he stuck his head into the medicine cat den. "There's two squirrels in the freshkill pile if Hawkbreeze is still hungry." He cast a look at Tigerfang, eager to please his mentor.
