Owlstar saw the strange cat sprint into the camp and out. "Someone take the feather and put it inside my den!" She said, sprinting after the cat.

Rowanwing's turned into slits. He dropped the berries and instinctively dashed after Owlstar.

The white cat's fur bristled and she ran into the Warriors' den, white tail streaking across the dirt.

"Good," I purred at Nightpaw, giving her a lick on the shoulder. "I'll put it back Owlstar," I mewed, carefully placing the feather in my mouth and padding towards her den.

Nightpaw sat there watching as her clanmates walked away. She sighed, feeling bored now. She walked over and sniffed the fresh-kill pile. She stepped, her stomach feeling to happy for food. I finally got a mentor! And its Crowface! She smiled to herself and sat down by the apprentices den.

Light could smell her chasing after him. He held back a laugh. Same old Owlstar, getting straight to the point.

I put the feather back in it's proper place, and wondered if I should chase after Owlstar. That really wouldn't be fair to Nightpaw... I thought to myself as I padded back into camp. I headed towards the fresh kill pile and picked out a mouse, looking around for my apprentice. There she is. I purred as I padded over.

Nightpaw was looking at the sky with wide eyes. She wondered if here old mentor approved of Crowface. She shook her head. She looked up to see Crowface and forced a smile and purr. "Hi!"

Owlstar sprinted as fast as she could. She wouldn't give up. She had never had a loner threaten her clan before. She gained speed, but tripped over a rock. "Mousedung!" She spat and started to run again.

"Owlstar, there he is!" he yowled as he ran. He felt like his legs were twigs that were to break, but he shook his head and focused on the prey-stealing cat. He was a medicine cat, but who said he couldn't take delight to chase a cat?
